By no means are dry batteries allowed to be connected to the charger.

In case of repairing the product use only original spare parts. The use of other
substitutes can lead to serious defects.
Repair of the product has to be done by experts.
After using the product always unplug it from the mains.
First disconnect the battery and then disconnect the unit.
Safety Notice
While using products with electrical voltage the valid VDE-regulations have to be
applied, especially VDE 0100, VDE 0550/0551, VDE 0700, VDE 0711 and VDE 0860.
Prior to opening the housing of such appliance the plug is to be disconnected from
the mains or it must be ensured that the appliance is not under high voltage.
Components and appliances can only be used if they are built into a specific
housing.
During installation no electrical power must be applied.
Tools should be used in appliances or with components only after voltage had
been cut off.
In case of electrical loads with components they should be discharged before
contact is being made.
Cables and wires should always be checked with regard to insulation faults and/
or breakage.
In case any faulty cable or wire is detected the appliance has to be disconnected
from the mains immediately until the faulty part has been repaired or replaced.
When replacing component parts they have to match the original parts in all
