Switch on the ignition and the monitor via the on-/off switch POWER to ON (see I 1).
Switch the camera holder to C 1 (see I 2).
Switch the MODE-switch to MANU (see I 3).
Switch the BRIGHT-switch to DAY and the vehicle lighting should be out (see I 4).
The automatic protection shield should now have run up (only RV-100) and an image
should appear on the monitor.
Adjust the image with a Phillips screwdriver via the both rotary controllers
BRIGHTNESS and COLOR according to your needs (see I 5).
If you now set the BRIGHT-switch to NIGHT or switch on the vehicle light, the image
on the monitor must become somewhat darker.
Switch the MODE-switch to AUTO. The monitor must go off and the automatic
protection shield of the camera must now move down (only RV-100).
Put in the reverse gear with ignition still switched on.
The monitor switches on and the automatic protection shield of the camera must now
move up (only RV-100).
Attention! Before switching off the ignition of the vehicle, switch off only the
monitor via the "Power" button so that the automatic protection shield of the
camera can move down (only RV-100).
The reversing switch is on the backside of the monitor for the normal/inverted
representation on the monitor. In the inverted representation, you see the image on the
monitor in such a way as if you are looking into the rear mirror of your vehicle.
Dip-switch MIRROR in the lower position = inverted representation. Dip-switch MIRROR
in the upper position = normal representation
Switch on the monitor and the camera as described beforehand.
The monitor screen should show at the lower margin the rear or the bumper of your
vehicle (see J 1). The centre of the bumper should be also located in the centre of the
monitor screen. The correct adjustment can be achieved by twisting the camera in the
camera-holder (see J 2).
If you have adjusted the camera correctly, tighten the screws of the camera-fixing.
Use for the sealing of the plug connector the attached or a comparable
self-vulcanising seal strip.
Tip: In order to minimize corrosion in the plug, we recommend you to apply
some grease, e.g. pole fat into one of the plugs. In order to minimize the
corrosion of the screws, it is recommendable to grease the threads.
