Connecting the stove

The Peppel is a heavy wood stove. Depending on the version, the Peppel weighs at least 150 kilos, including the 2-meter
long smoke-gas discharge. Make sure the wall or fl oor that you are installing the stove on can easily carry this weight.
Before installing the stove, follow the directions in the previous chapter 'Preparation' . Protect your back and the fl oor during
installation.

Repairs

Replacing glass

• Open the door,
• Remove the 6 screws on the inside of the door,
• Remove the 2 glass holders,
• Carefully take the glass out of the door,
• Check to see whether the strap in the door is not damaged and
that it is connected. If not, secure the strap with heat-resistant
sealant or replace it entirely,
• Put in the new glass, beware of sharp edges on the glass,
• Put the various parts back in place.
Avoid fi nger marks
Do not touch the glass of the stove with your fi ngers. Finger marks will burn into the glass and cannot be removed
later.

Replacing the combustion chamber.

Please follow the below steps in their exact order to remove the
panels from the furnace;
• Remove the baffl e plate (A),
• Remove the back panel (B),
• Remove the bottom plate (C),
• Remove the panels on the left (D) and right (E).

Types of cord

The Peppel is fi tted with 10 mm hollow profi le cord in the doors. The
self-adhesive cord between the glass and the door is 10 x 3 mm in
size.
