3 INSERTING BATTERIES (REMOTE CONTROL)
3A Unscrew the battery compartment securing screw anticlockwise
and pull off the cover downwards.
3B Insert 4 x 1.5 V AA batteries and pay attention to the polarity,
as shown in the battery compartment.
3C Close the battery cover and secure with the screw.
4 CHARGING THE HELICOPTER
Attention: The battery must cool down for 10 to 15 minutes before
charging and after every flight. Failure to do so may result in the
battery becoming damaged. The charging process is electronically
monitored, but do not leave it unsupervised.
• Remove the battery from the model and switch off the remote
control 4A.
• Plug the USB charger into the charging jack of the remote control 4B
and switch on the remote control. Please do not use force. Alterna-
tively, the USB charger can be plugged into a USB port on
a computer or into an active USB hub. The Status LED of the USB
charger illuminates red.
• Now connect the battery to the charger 4C. The battery plug only fits in
the charger connection in one direction. Please do not use force! The red
Status LED on the charger goes out during the charging process.
• After a charge time of approximately 40 minutes, the LED begins to
illuminate again; the battery has been charged.
• After the charging process, remove the battery from the charger and
disconnect the charger from the remote control/USB port.
The helicopter can fly for 5-7 minutes after a charge time of
approx. 40 minutes.
5 START PREPARATION
The thrust controller (the left controller on the remote control) must
point down before being switched on 5A. Then briefly press the
ON/OFF button on the remote control 5B and the Power LED blinks red.
Now slide the battery into the battery compartment until the plug of
the battery engages in the jack of the model 5C.

the remote control. Remove the battery from the helicopter to switch it off.
The correct trimming is a basic requirement for achieving fault-free
flying from the helicopter.
