Removing of the seat shell
First loosen the protective device (Photo 15)�
Open the seat shell catch by pressing the
lever upwards (Photo 16)� Then you can pull
out the seat shell to the front�
Attention: The removal of the seat shell from
the wheel chair may only be performed with-
out patient�
Attention: The example shows the trap-
ezoidal adapter of the underframes of the
ROOMY NEW EDITION� Differences between
this adapter and your item may occur�
6.2 A ttachment and removal of the seat shell
via locking pin
In order to fix the seat shell please follow these steps:
1� C heck whether the release button is locked in� If yes, the locking pin should
reach out on top of the adaptor plate� If not, turn the locking pin until it locks�
2� P osition the seat unit with the rear part of the trapezoidal adaptor on the
trapezoidal plate� Push the seat unit (and thereby the trape-zoidal adaptor)
backwards into the trapezoid plate until the locking pin engages audibly
Important: Check that the seat shell and the lock are firmly fixed by pulling the
seat while pushing the undercarriage� The seat shell should not slide out�
To remove the seat shell proceed as follows:
Pull the locking pin downward and turn by 90°� This way the locking pin will

remain in its unlocked position�
Open the seat shell fixation by pushing down the lever� Now you can pull

the seat shell out towards the front�
Remove the seat shell from the undercarriage�

Turn the locking pin until it locks audibly�

