INSTALLATION IN THE LABORATORY
Installing the support bar
Remove the allen screw and lock washer from the support bar. Insert the
support bar into the back of the stirrer so that the holes line up for the allen
screw. Secure with allen screw and lock washer and tighten with allen key.
Clamp the stirrer to a Caframo stand on a stable, level surface. See safety
instructions on page 3.
Connect stirrer to supplied Caframo power supply. Connect power supply to
a grounded electrical outlet.
Impeller attachment
Insert the impeller shaft into the open chuck and adjust the impeller to the
desired height. The hollow shaft allows the impeller shaft to come through
the top of the stirrer if necessary.
CAUTION : Operating a freely rotating impeller shaft through the
ENVIRONMENTAL OPERATING CONDITIONS
The BDC2002 and BDC2010 stirrers must operate in the following condi-
tions :

while the motor is powered on. The gasket is for seal-
ing purposes only. Tighten the chuck's outer ring by
hand and then secure with the chuck key.
