Connect the telephone cord from the wall jack providing ADSL
service to the "DSL Line" port on the rear of the Router.
Note: Connection for the Router to the ADSL line varies by country and region.
Typically it involves a microfilter or a microfilter with built-in splitter to allow
simultaneous use of ADSL service and telephone service on the same telephone
line. Check with your ISP or see your User Manual for more detail.
1.4
Connect the supplied power adapter to "power plug" on the rear of the Router.
Note: For optimal safety and performance, use only the supplied
power adapter to prevent damage to the Router.
1.5 After connecting the power adapter and the power source is turned on, the
Router's power icon on the front panel should be on. It might take a few
minutes for the Router to fully start up.
1.6 Turn on your computers. After your computers boot up, a LAN status LED
on the front of the Router will light for each port to which a wired computer
is connected. These LEDs indicate connection and activity status.
Now you are ready to configure the Router for ADSL connection.

1.4
Schließen Sie das mitgelieferte Netzteil an den entsprechenden
Anschluss („power plug") an der Rückseite Ihres Routers an.
Hinweis: Aus Sicherheitsgründen empfehlen wir Ihnen, nur das mitgelieferte
Netzteil zu benutzen, mit welchem Sie eine optimale Leistung erzielen.

Wenn das Netzteil angeschlossen ist und das Gerät mit Strom versorgt
wird, leuchtet die Betriebsleuchte an der Vorderseite des Routers
auf. Es kann einige Minuten dauern, bis der Router hochgefahren ist.
1.6
Fahren Sie Ihre Computer hoch. Nach dem Hochfahren der Computer
leuchtet für jede Schnittstelle, an welche ein Computer angeschlossen
ist, die LAN-Leuchte an der Vorderseite des Routers auf. Diese
Leuchten zeigen Ihnen Verbindungs- und Aktivitätsstatus an. Jetzt
können Sie den Router für die ADSL-Verbindung konfigurieren.

éviter d'endommager le Routeur, n'utilisez que l'adaptateur fourni.

Après avoir branché l'adaptateur de courant et mis le Routeur sous
tension, le témoin d'alimentation du Routeur doit être allumé. Le
démarrage complet du Routeur peut prendre plusieurs minutes.
1.6 Allumez vos ordinateurs. Une fois les ordinateurs amorcés, un témoin
LAN (à l'avant du routeur) , correspondant à chaque port auquel
un ordinateur câblé est connecté, s'allume. Ces voyants lumineux
indiquent l'état de la connexion et l'activité. Vous êtes maintenant prêt
à configurer le Routeur en vue de la connexion au service ADSL.

2. Configure
Configure the Router
2.1
In order for your computer to properly communicate with the Router, your computer's
network "TCP/IP/Ethernet" setting needs to be "Obtain an IP address automatically/
Using DHCP". This is normally the default setting in most home computers. Detailed
instruction on how to configure your computer network settings is available in your
User Manual.
2.2
You can access the web-based management user interface of the Router using
the Internet browser on a computer physically connected to the Router. Type
"192.168.2.1" in your browser's address bar (as shown), then press the "Enter" key.
2.3
The following screen will appear in your browser to prompt you to log
in. The Router ships with no password entered. In the login screen,
leave the password blank and click the "Submit" button to log in.
Note:
It is strongly recommended that you change
the password to your own for increased
security. Please read the User Manual for
Configure 4
details on how to change your password
and to reference other security features.

2.1 Damit Ihr Computer fehlerfrei mit dem Router kommunizieren kann, muss die „TCP/
IP/Ethernet"-Einstellung Ihres Netzwerks folgende sein: „Obtain an IP address
automatically/Using DHCP" (IP-Adresse automatisch über DHCP beziehen). Dies ist
normalerweise die Standardeinstellung bei Heimcomputern. Weitere Informationen zur
Konfigurierung von Netzwerkeinstellungen finden Sie in Ihrem Benutzerhandbuch.
2.2
Sie erhalten über den Browser eines Computers, der an den Router angeschlossen
ist, Zugang zur Verwaltungsoberfläche des Routers. Geben Sie „192.168.2.1" in die
Adressleiste Ihres Browsers ein (s. Abbildung), drücken Sie dann die Eingabetaste.
2.3
Mit dem folgenden Fenster werden sie zum Anmelden aufgefordert.
Der Router wird ohne festgelegtes Kennwort geliefert. Lassen Sie
auf dem Anmeldeschirm das Kennwortfeld leer und klicken Sie auf
die Schaltfläche „Submit" (Versenden), um sich anzumelden.
Hinweis:
Es wird dringend empfohlen, dass Sie Ihr eigenes
Kennwort eingeben, um die Netzwerksicherheit
zu erhöhen. In Ihrem Benutzerhandbuch finden

2. Configurez

2.1
Afin que votre ordinateur puisse communiquer efficacement avec votre Routeur, vous
devrez modifier les paramètres « TCP/IP/Ethernet » de votre ordinateur en choisissant

2.2 Vous pouvez accéder à l'interface-utilisateur basée sur le Web du
Routeur à l'aide d'un navigateur, à partir d'un ordinateur physiquement
connecté au Routeur. Entrez « 192.168.2.1 » dans la barre d'adresse de

2.4 A Status page will follow showing detailed status of your Router. Next, click
on the "Setup Wizard" button for express configuration (recommended).
2.5
Clicking on the "Setup Wizard" button starts the Router's Setup Wizard. The
first step is to select the appropriate time zone for your region. If you are under
daylight saving time, check the "Automatically Adjust Daylight Saving" box.

Next, select your connection type (this information is provided
by your ISP) and click "Next". (For a list of common European
ISP settings please turn to page 83 in the User Manual).

Klicken Sie auf die Schaltfläche „Setup Wizard" (Installationsassistent), wenn
