INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
3 - Removal (fi gures 10, 11, 12)
After screwing the suitable guide, take the pulling hexagon (E) and
thoroughly screw it onto the guide (fi g. 10).
Take the suitable pulling rod (F-G) + 2 anti-friction washers (H) +
pulling notch (I).
• F - Pulling rod M4 (for M10x1 and M10x1.25) (for M8x1 – special
application)
• G - Pulling rod M3 (for M9x1 and M8x1)
• H - Anti-friction washer
• I - Pulling notch;
fi t it into the guide with the fi tted pulling hexagon.
Thoroughly screw the pulling rod by hand (fi g. 11).
Place the notch against the pulling hexagon, and fi x it to the
pulling rod using a 3mm hexagon wrench (fi g. 12).
The 2 anti-friction washers (H) should be between the
pulling hexagon (E) and the notch (I).
Start removing the end part of the glow plug electrode by hand, using
2 15mm wrenches.
Hold the guide, and unscrew the pulling hexagon (E) (fi g. 13) until the
tip has come out completely (fi g. 14).
BEFORE INSTALLING NEW GLOW PLUG:
• Carefully clean the interior of the seat with an iron brush or a
similar tool. Before installing the new glow plug, make sure that
all metal chips, dirt and fragments are removed from the glow
plug seat and thread.
