1 Buttons SCANNER 1-12 with LEDs
To select and deselect devices. The control
LEDs indicate which devices are selected.
2 Button SCENE 1-8
To activate or deactivate illumination scenes.
3 Button PAGE with LEDs
To switch the sliding controls and data wheels
between the two channel groups 1-8 and 9-
16. The control LEDs indicate which channel
group is selected.
4 Button MIDI/REC
For storing individual illumination scenes or
chases and activating MIDI control.
5 Button PROGRAM with LED
To activate or deactivate the programming
mode. With the function activated the control
LED flashes.
6 Sliding controls 1 to 16
For adjusting the DMX values of the
connected light effect units. The current DMX
value is indicated in the display.
7 Button AUTO/DEL
To switch on the automatic running mode for
illumination scenes in a memory bank or a
chase and to delete illumination scenes or
chases.
8 Button MUSIC BANK/COPY
To activate sound-control mode and copy a
complete memory bank in programming
mode.
9 Sliding control SPEED
To adjust the running speed when the
illumination scenes in a memory bank or a
chase are/is running in time-controlled mode
(0.1 s-10 min).
10 Sliding control FADE TIME
To adjust the fading speed between two
scenes when the illumination scenes in a
memory bank or a chase are/is running in
time-controlled mode (0-10 s).
11 Display
Shows the current activity of the device or the
status of programming.
12 Joystick PAN/TILT
For controlling the pan/tilt movement of
scanners.
13 LEDs MUSIC, MANUAL and AUTO
Indicate the running mode selected with for
illumination scenes in a memory bank or a
chase.
14 Button BANK UP and BANK DOWN
To switch between the memory banks 1-30
and for programming functions.
15 Button TAP/DISPLAY
To switch the display indication between per
cent value and decimal value, to adjust the
running speed when the illumination scenes in
a memory bank or a chase are/is running in
time-controlled mode and for programming
functions.
16 Button BLACKOUT with LED
Sets all control channels to the value zero
(e.g. for turning off the devices). With the
function activated the control LED flashes.
17 Button group CHASE with LEDs
Buttons 1-6 to activate or deactivate chases.
The control LEDs light to indicate which
chases are selected and flash to indicate
which chase is running.
18 Button MODE with LEDs
For programming functions.
19 Button FINE with LED
To switch over to fine resolution of the pan
and tilt movement.
20 USB port
For connecting a USB storage device for
storing and importing data and firmware
updates.
21 Audio input
RCA jack for connecting an audio unit with
line output (e.g. CD player, mixer) to control
the run of a chase to the rhythm of the music;
when connecting the jack the internal
microphone is switched off.
22 MIDI input
5-pin DIN jack for MIDI control of the
controller.
23 DMX512 output
3-pin XLR jack for connecting the DMX input
of the first light effect unit.
24 Power input
Plug in the mains cable of the supplied power
unit here.
25 Power on/off
Switches the controller on/off.
