9. Malfunctions

The mattress heating operates on
27 Volt low-voltage current and is
protected against over-heating.
A malfunction may be a nuisance but
it is never dangerous.
Nothing appears in the display
It may be that the Ultimate Climate
(Advanced) has not been connected
correctly. Check that the mains
voltage and plugs are properly
connected.
The foot zone remains cold
during drying
This is not a malfunction. The foot
zone always remains cold during the
heating process.
The four outer pilot lights in the
display are blinking intermittently
When the software discovers a fault
this is indicated by the blinking of the
four outer pilot lights and a text will
appear in the display of the Ultimate
Climate Advanced.
There are two possibilities.
1. The mattress is cold/fails to warm
up.
The text ERROR! CHECK MATTR.
CONNECTORS will appear in the
display.
The coupling beneath the mattress
may be making poor or no contact. It
could be that the coupling came
loose while the bed was being made
or the bed is in the sitting position
while no one is sitting on it (this
could also make the coupling
become detached).

The plug between the topper (inlay)
and the support layer could have
come loose (see also the Installation
guidelines).
Solution: Adjust the bed to the flat
position and make sure that there is
no sheet between the mattress
conncectors. Position the mattress
precisely in the middle of the mesh
base and press the couplings
together until you hear a click. Also
check the plugs beneath the
mattress cover in the mattress.
2. The mattress is too hot.
The text ERROR! SEE USER GUIDE
will appear in the display.
Possibly the thermal safeguard has
been activated. This could be the
case if you have left the bed in the
sitting position or if a pile of washing
has been left on the bed so that the
mattress is unable to release the
heat during the drying process.
Solution: Adjust the bed to the flat
position. Clear the mattress and
allow it to cool off. The heating will
be automatically activated when the
correct temperature is reached.
Power cut (Ultimate Climate
Advanced)
In the event of a power cut or if the
plug is pulled out, the current time
will continue to activate the program
for about thirty minutes. If the
interruption lasts longer the time
must be re-set (see Chapter 5.1.1:
Setting current time). The other
settings remain as they were.
