6. Useful tips

A new mattress may feel somewhat
rigid in the beginning. As a result it
may initially not adapt perfectly to
the adjustments of the mesh base.
We recommend that you lie down on
the mattress during the initial
adjustments of the mesh base. The
rigidity of the mattress will disappear
after a few days.
Turn the blankets or duvet down to
the foot end of the bed to allow the
mattress to dry thoroughly. The foot
end of the bed is not heated during
the drying process. Leave the duvet
over the mattress if you want that to
dry as well.

The mattress is fitted with a safety
switch. This will deactivate the
heating process if the temperature
should become too high.
A malfunction text will appear in the
display of the remote control (see
Chapter 9: Malfunctions). The
heating will switch on automatically
once the mattress has cooled down
sufficiently.
Temporarily deactivate the program
when you go on holiday or will be
away from home for some time (see
5.3.4, page 14). This will prevent the
mattress from consuming energy
unnecessarily.
