sprechende Adapter asymmetrisch angeschlos-
sen werden [z. B. MCA-306 (XLR – 6,3-mm-
Klinke) oder MCA-308 (XLR – Cinch) aus dem
Sortiment von „img Stage Line"].
3) Am zugehörigen Ausgang LINE OUT LINK (3
und 6) steht das Eingangssignal zum Weiterlei-
ten zur Verfügung. Hier lassen sich weitere Aktiv-
lautsprecherboxen zur zusätzlichen Beschallung
anschließen.
4) Die Satellitenlautsprecher über die mitgelieferten
Anschlusskabel mit den Buchsen SATELLITE
LEFT (1) und SATELLITE RIGHT (11) verbinden.
Die SPEAKON ® -Stecker in die entsprechenden
Buchsen stecken und nach rechts drehen, bis sie
einrasten. Zum späteren Herausziehen den
Sicherungsriegel am Stecker nach hinten schie-
ben und den Stecker nach links drehen.
5) Zuletzt das beiliegende Netzkabel an die Netz-
buchse (13) anschließen und mit einer Steck-
dose (230 V~/50 Hz) verbinden.
5 Bedienung
VORSICHT Stellen Sie die Lautstärke nie sehr
hoch ein. Hohe Lautstärken können
auf Dauer das Gehör schädigen! Das
Ohr gewöhnt sich an sie und empfin-
det sie nach einiger Zeit als nicht
mehr so hoch. Darum eine hohe
Lautstärke nach der Gewöhnung
nicht weiter erhöhen.
1) Die angeschlossene Signalquelle einschalten.
2) Um Einschaltgeräusche zu vermeiden, vor dem
Einschalten die beiden Regler LEVEL SAT LEFT
(4) und LEVEL SAT RIGHT (7) auf Null drehen.
Dann die PA-Anlage mit dem Netzschalter
POWER (14) einschalten. Der Schalter leuchtet
zur Betriebsanzeige.

4 Setting-up and Connection
1) Place each satellite speaker on a PA speaker
stand (e. g. PAST-162 by "img Stage Line") at a
suitable place. It would be best to place the sub-
woofer system centrally between the two satellite
speakers and tilt it forward until the system rests
on its rubber feet.
2) As a signal source, connect an audio unit with
line output (e. g. mixer, CD player, etc.). Connect
the two channels of the stereo signal source via
an XLR plug each to the input jacks INPUT LEFT
(2) and INPUT RIGHT (5). The XLR jacks are
balanced, however, an unbalanced connection is
also possible via corresponding adapters [e. g.
MCA-306 (XLR plug – 6.3 mm plug) or MCA-308
(XLR plug – phono plug) from the range of "img
Stage Line"].
3) At the corresponding output LINE OUT LINK (3
and 6) the input signal is available for passing on.
This output allows to connect other active speak-
er systems for additional PA applications.
4) Connect the satellite speakers to the jacks
SATELLITE LEFT (1) and SATELLITE RIGHT (11)
via the connection cables supplied. Connect the
SPEAKON ® plugs to the corresponding jacks and
turn them clockwise until they lock into place. For
later removal, push the locking latch on the plug to
the rear and turn the plug counter-clockwise.
5) Finally connect the supplied mains cable to the
mains jack (13) and to a mains socket (230 V~/
50 Hz).
5 Operation
CAUTION Never adjust a very high volume. Per-
manent high volumes may damage
your hearing! The human ear will get
accustomed to high volumes which do
not seem to be that high after some
time. Therefore, do not further increase
a high volume after getting used to it.
1) Switch on the signal source connected.
2) Prior to switching on, set the two controls LEVEL

woofer und den Satellitenlautsprechern mit dem
Regler LEVEL SUBWOOFER (9) so einstellen,
dass sich eine natürliche Basswiedergabe ergibt.
5) Bei der Aufstellung der Lautsprecher kann es zu
einer unterschiedlichen Phasenlage zwischen
den Schallwellen des Subwoofers und denen der
Satellitenlautsprechern kommen. Um dieses aus-
zugleichen, den Schalter PHASE (10) wechsel-
weise schalten, um die lauteste Basswiedergabe
am Hörplatz zu ermitteln. Anschließend mit dem
Regler LEVEL SUBWOOFER die Basslautstärke
ggf. korrigieren.
6) Die Taste GROUNDLIFT (8) zur Grundeinstel-
lung ausrasten. Ist ohne ein Musiksignal ein
störendes Brummen zu hören, kann eine Masse-
schleife die Ursache sein. Masseschleifen kön-
nen entstehen, wenn zwei Geräte sowohl über
die Signalmasse als auch über den Schutzleiter
der Stromversorgung oder eine leitende Verbin-
dung der Gehäuse Kontakt haben. Um die so
entstandene Masseschleife aufzutrennen, die
Taste GROUNDLIFT hineindrücken.
7) Nach dem Betrieb zuerst die beiden Regler
LEVEL SAT LEFT und LEVEL SAT RIGHT auf
Null drehen und dann das Gerät mit dem Schal-
ter POWER ausschalten.
6 Transport
1) Alle Anschlussstecker herausziehen und die
Subwooferbox auf die Laufrollen stellen.
2) Die Satellitenlautsprecher mit der Vorderseite auf
die Subwooferbox legen (siehe Abb. 2) und mit
dem Haltegurt sichern.
3) Die Schutzhaube überstülpen.

SAT LEFT (4) and LEVEL SAT RIGHT (7) to zero
to prevent switching noise. Then switch on the PA
system with the mains switch POWER (14). The
switch will light up to indicate operation.
3) Adjust the volume and the stereo balance with
the two controls LEVEL SAT LEFT and LEVEL
SAT RIGHT.
4) Adjust the volume ratio between the subwoofer
and the satellite speakers with the control LEVEL
SUBWOOFER (9) in such a way that a natural
bass reproduction will result.
5) When setting up the speakers, there may be a
different phase between the sound waves of the
subwoofer and those of the satellite speakers. To
compensate this difference, actuate the switch
PHASE (10) alternately to determine the bass
reproduction of the highest volume at the place of
hearing. Then readjust the bass volume with the
control LEVEL SUBWOOFER, if required.
6) For basic adjustment, release the GROUNDLIFT
button (8). If there is an unwanted noise without a
music signal, this may be due to a ground loop.
Ground loops may occur when two units have
contact both via the signal ground and via the
earthed conductor of the power supply or a con-
ductive connection of the housings. To separate
such a ground loop, depress the GROUNDLIFT
button.
7) After operation, set the two controls LEVEL SAT
LEFT and LEVEL SAT RIGHT to zero first, then
switch off the unit with the switch POWER.
6 Transport
1) Disconnect all connection plugs and set the sub-
woofer system on its castors.
2) Place the satellite speakers with their front sides
on the subwoofer system (see fig. 2) and fasten
them with the retaining strap.
3) Slip on the protective cover.
