Batteries must not be exposed to overheat, such as
direct light of the sun, fire or others alike.
Please ensure that the batteries are correctly inser-
ted and have the right polarity (+ and -).
The batteries should be disposed separately from
the rangefinder.
Deterioration hazard!
Innapropriate manipulation of this rangefinder
might deteriorate it, thus compromising the security
of products.
The device may only be repaired by qualified per-
sonnel. Do not modify in any way the counter. The
enclosure must not be opened.
Deterioration hazard!
The device must not be exposed to direct light of the
sun, heat sources and cold, extreme temperature
fluctuations, dirt, moisture, liquids, magnetic fields
and direct shock.

PREPARATION AND OPERATION

Carefully open the package to prevent
damaging the rangefinder.
Preparation
A. Remove the device from the package.
B. Remove the display film and possibly further packa-

ging material.
C. Check that all specified parts are present (Figure A,
page 4).
D. Check the device for any damage. If the board shows
signs of damage, do not use the device and contact your
dealer.
Installation and replacement of batteries
A. Please make sure the meter is off.
B. Using the supplied screwdriver, please open the
battery compartment cover (22) (Figure B, page 5).
C. Remove the packaging material of the two supplied
batteries and put them back inside the meter. Pay
attention to the correct polarity (Figure C, page 5).
D. Now you can put the battery cover back on the ran-
gefinder and tighten the screw.

USE OF LASER RANGEFINDER

Accident hazard!
!
The front part of the counter releases a visible
laser beam. Never look directly into the beam,
close your eyes in case of contact and / or turn
your head sideways. Do not look into the beam
with optical aids. The laser beam should not
point other people or animals.
