- the device shows visible signs of damage,
- the device no longer functions and
- after longer periods of storage under unfavourable conditions or
- following heavy stress during transportation.
• Never put the device into operation immediately after it has been taken from a cold
to a warm environment. - The condensation arising could destroy the device. Allow
the devices to reach room temperature before switching them on.
• Electrical appliances have no place in the hands of children.
• Make sure that the device is ventilated sufficiently.
• Avoid heavy mechanical stress, high temperatures, strong vibration or a excessive
dampness which can damage devices.
• Never place the device on an unstable surface. If it fell over, it could injure persons.
• This camera system creates, uses and radiates high-frequency energy. If the
devices cannot be installed and operated as stated in the instructions, disturbance
to other devices could be the result. If the radio camera system should disturb oth-
er devices, it is the duty of the operator to stop this through one or several of the
measures listed below:
- alter the position of the radio camera
- increase the distance between the disturbed device and the radio camera or the
receiver of the radio camera system
- select another transmission channel
• The use of the radio camera system cannot replace personal supervision of a child,
those in need of care etc. but only support this.
• Do not leave the packaging material lying around carelessly. Plastic foil and/or
bags and polystyrene parts etc. can become dangerous toys in the hands of chil-
dren.
• Also observe the operating instructions for the connected devices.

Fault Possible cause
No picture or sound • Is the radio camera switched on?
• The radio camera or receiver is not supplied with cur-
rent, The operating LED does not light up, the plug-in
power unit is possibly not plugged in or the batteries
are flat.
• Is the distance between the radio camera and receiv-
er too great?
• The same channels are not set on the receiver and
the radio camera.
The picture, tone is • The range of the system has been exceeded;
distorted/there reduce the distance.
is interference. • There is a strong source of interference (e.g. an elec-
tric motor, radio device, etc.) in the vicinity?
• The distance between the radio camera and receiver
too great meaning that the receiver can be overmod-
ulated. Extend the distance.
• The supply voltage of the camera is too low (replace
battery?).
Flickering picture. • Strong spot or floodlight within the detection range of
the camera.
Normal tone, dark • Detection range of camera is not correctly illuminated.
or excessively • Surveillance monitor is set incorrectly (readjust
bright picture. brightness and contrast).
• Strong spot or floodlight within the detection range
of the camera.
Picture is too narrow • The supply voltage of the camera is too low
when relayed on to (replace battery?).
the surveillance monitor. • the surveillance monitor is not set correctly
The picture runs through. • the surveillance monitor is not set correctly (vertical
hold control).
Repairs other than those just described should only be performed
by an authorised electrician.
