DEFAULT
The electric faucet is delivered to the customer with the settings in the default state, that is not operational.
• When first turned on, the red LED flashes rapidly, indicating the default state and therefore is not operational.
CALIBRATION
To go from the default to the operating state, it is necessary to go through the process of self-calibrating the
valve.
•Using a tip (such as a pen) keep pressed the small button located on the faucet housing, for a period of about 7
seconds until the red LED does not remain lit and the water begins to flow from the faucet (Fig. 1 )
•This will activate the process of self-calibrating during which the faucet water will flow intermittently.
NOTE: During the process of self-calibrating avoid using the sensor, as this may affect the process.
•When the red LED shuts off, this indicates the end of the process, the faucet is operational.
•If it is deemed necessary, the calibration procedure may be repeated.
Run the entire procedure again.
SETTINGS
It is possible to define the basis functions of the faucet, by setting the sensitivity and the time of the water supply
in the ways specified below.
Sensitivity (fig. 3):
Using the trimmer on the faucet's box is possible to manually set the sensitivity of the sensor.
•Rotation Clockwise: Increase the sensitivity of the sensor.
•Rotation Anti Clockwise: Decrease the sensitivity of the sensor, or to use the faucet you must get closer.
Time of water supply (fig. 4):
By setting this parameter, it is possible to determine the time during which the faucet water supplies after your
hands have been removed.
•Turn on the Dip Switches located inside the lid of the electrical installation box , by setting to the time you want
to set.
By default, the electronic faucet has been set of an immediate configuration.
TEMPORARY DISABLING
It is possible to temporarily disable the electronic faucet for a period of approximately 5 minutes.
•Using a tip, push the button (Fig. 1).
•The red LED will flash slowly for 5 minutes, indicating the temporary lock status.
ABNORMAL SITUATIONS
Low Battery:
In the event of battery-powered and low, the water will be closed and a red LED will flash constantly (one flash
followed by a long pause) on the sensor in the faucet.
Power failures or Blackouts:
If a blackout or power failure is detected on the power line, the faucet will shut the water supply and will be
operational again only after normal conditions are restored.
Extended use:
In the event of a continued and extended use of the sensor, after about 1 minute the faucet will shut off the water
and the red LED will begin to flash (two flashes followed by a pause), indicating the abnormal situation. The faucet
will return to normal operation (red LED off), once the sensor is no longer in use.
SUMMARY OF THE TYPES OF LED FLASHES
•Fast flash: on hold for faucet calibration
•Slow flash: Temporarily disabled
•Two flashes followed by a pause: extended use (sensor blocked)
•One flash followed by a long pause: low battery
