6. Connections

A) Headphone Jack

Plug a set of headphones (6.3mm stereo) into the PHONES jack and the speakers will be turned off automatically.
Avoid listening with the headphones at high volume for long periods of time; doing so may not only
result in ear fatigue, it may be damaging to your hearing.
To prevent damage to the speakers, set the volume of the external devices at the minimum setting before
connecting them. Failure to observe these cautions may result in electric shock or equipment damage.
Set the volumes of all devices to their minimum levels and gradually increase the volume to the desired
listening level.

B) AUX.OUT Jack

The AUX. OUT jack delivers the output signal of the keyboard to an external amplifier.
Use a 6.3mm stereo audio plug to connect into the AUX. OUT jack located on the rear panel; then plug the other end of the
cord into LINE IN or AUX. IN of the amplifier.

C) Sustain Jack

An optional footswitch can be plugged into the SUSTAIN jack for sustain control.
The footswitch functions like the damper pedal of a piano. Press for sustain, release for normal sound.

D) USB Jack

To avoid damages, turn off this keyboard and all related devices before you plug or unplug this
instrument with other related devices. Activate the computer from a sleep/ suspended/ standby mode
before connecting the USB cable.
Please observe the precautions when connecting the instrument to a computer via a USB cable. Failure
to do so can cause the instrument and/or the computer to freeze, possibly causing corruption or losing
the data. If the instrument or computer does freeze, turn the power of both devices off and then turn it
on again after a few seconds.
The USB jack connects the keyboard to a PC or other USB host devices that support USB Audio.
1.
Connect a standard USB cable from the rear-panel of the USB jack of the instrument to the USB jack on your computer
(USB cable sold separately).
2.
For devices with USB cable, after the driver is installed and initialization is finished, you can choose USB Audio Device in
the device menu of the software to transfer midi data.
MIDI Function
This keyboard includes the MIDI feature. (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) MIDI is the universal standard for sending and
receiving performance data between electronic musical instruments or computer. (See Appendix VII for MIDI list)
With a USB cable, midi data can be transferred to a computer or other USB host devices that support USB audio devices

7. Operation

A) Power Switch & Volume
1. Turn [POWER] switch on. The LCD display illuminates.
2. Turn [VOLUME] control switch to adjust the volume to the desired level.

B) Demo

1.
Press [DEMO] button to play demo songs. There are a total of 50 demo songs. (See Appendix III for song list.)
2.
You can select a demo song with [-] / [+] button. The number of demo song will appear on the LCD.
3.
Press [DEMO] or [START/STOP] button to exit from the demo mode.

C) Reset to default settings

To restore the default settings to the keyboard, press and hold [+] and [-], while turning the power on. All data and configuration
will be lost after the reset.

Pour jouer un accord majeur
Appuyer sur la note racine de l'accord
Pour jouer un accord mineur
Appuyer sur la note racine en même temps que sur la touche noire
à gauche la plus proche.
Pour jouer un accord septième
Appuyer sur la note en même temps que sur la touche blanche la
plus proche à gauche.
Pour jouer un accord septième mineur
Jouer les notes racines en même temps que les touches blanches
et noires les plus proches à gauche (total de trois touches).
