OPERATION

Charge the internal rechargeable battery completely before first-time use.
Verify that your mobile device's connection values correspond with the
product's connection values (see technical data).
Do not short-circuit the USB output.
Only use the accessories provided.
The two cables are not suitable for data transfer.
a) Charging the internal rechargeable battery
1. Connect the short barrel connector (black ring) of the charging adapter (5) to the fitting
socket on the Y cable (12).
2. Connect the longer barrel connector (yellow ring) of the charging adapter to the input
DC-IN (4) on the product.
3. Connect both USB plugs of the Y cable to two free USB ports on a PC.
You may also use a power adapter with USB output for power supply. Make sure the
power adapter features an output power of 1000 mA.
4. The four LEDs of the charge status indicator (3) start flashing.
5. Once all four LEDs light up steadily, the internal rechargeable battery is fully charged.
6. Disconnect the Y cable from the product and the computer when the internal rechargeable
battery has been charged completely. The product is now ready for use.
Charging takes max. 19 hours, depending on the charge status of the rechargeable
battery.
You may charge a mobile device at the same time while charging the internal
rechargeable battery. However, the internal rechargeable battery will take longer to
charge in this case.
For infrequent use, we recommend fully charging the internal rechargeable battery once
every three months to maintain maximum performance.
b) Checking the charge status
Press the POWER button (2) to display the charge status.
No LED lights up: internal rechargeable battery empty
1 LED lights up: internal rechargeable battery is charged 25 %
2 LEDs light up: internal rechargeable battery is charged 50 %
3 LEDs light up: internal rechargeable battery is charged 75 %
4 LEDs light up: internal rechargeable battery is fully charged
c) Charging a mobile device
1. Select one of the adapters provided that is suitable for your mobile device.
2. Connect the adapter's hollow plug to the matching socket of the USB cable (11).
3. Connect the adapter to the respective socket on your mobile device.
4. Connect the USB plug of the USB cable to the output DC-OUT (1) on the product.
5. Push and hold the POWER button (2) for approx. 3 seconds to begin charging. The charge
status is shown for approx. 2 seconds.
6. Press the POWER button during charging to display the charge status of the internal
rechargeable battery for approx. 2 seconds.
7. Monitor the charging process. Once the charging has been completed, disconnect the USB
cable from the product and the mobile device.
8. Push and hold the POWER button for approx. 3 seconds to turn off the product. All LEDs
on the charge status indicator flash three times.
The powerbank might not be able to charge older Nokia devices.
The charging adapter (5) with the yellow ring can also be used to charge a
PlayStation Portable.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical
solutions as they can cause damage to the housing and malfunctioning.
• Disconnect the Y cable (12) or USB cable (11) respectively from the product before
cleaning.
• Never submerge the product in water.
• There are no components located inside the product you need to maintain. Never open/
dismantle the product.
• To clean the product, a dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient. Do not apply too much
pressure to the housing to prevent scratching.
• You can easily remove dust using a long-haired, soft and clean brush.
DISPOSAL
a) Product
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the
household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant
statutory regulations.
The built-in rechargeable battery must be disposed of by a specialist.
b) Rechargeable batteries
You as the end user are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used rechargeable
batteries. Disposing of them in the household waste is prohibited.
Contaminated rechargeable batteries are labelled with this symbol to indicate that
disposal in the domestic waste is forbidden. The designations for the heavy metals
involved are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead (name on rechargeable
batteries, e.g. below the trash icon on the left).
Used rechargeable batteries can be returned to collection points in your
municipality, our stores or wherever rechargeable batteries are sold.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
