SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

ATTENTION! Failure to observe the following
instructions could cause fire and/or serious injuries. Please
read through these operating instructions completely before
using the appliance. If this appliance is passed on to anyone
else, these instructions must also be passed on with it. This
appliance conforms to the relevant technical standards and
corresponding safety requirements for electrical appliances.
1. This appliance may be used by children from the age of 8 and by
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or by
those without experience and/or knowledge, if they are supervised
or have been instructed in the safe use of the appliance and have
understood the dangers that arise when using it. Children must not
be allowed to play with the appliance. Cleaning and user main-
tenance may not be carried out by children without supervision.
2. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the appliance. This also applies to the cleaning of the appliance.
3. Do not allow this appliance to be used by anyone who is not
familiar with it or has not read these instructions.
4. RISK OF SHORT CIRCUIT! Do not open the housing under any
circumstances. Never insert any objects into the interior of the
housing.
5. RISK OF SHORT CIRCUIT! Do not submerge the
appliance in water. Do not allow any liquids to pene-
trate inside the appliance.
6. Never touch the appliance with wet or damp hands.
7. Do not use, store or place the appliance on or near to hot
surfaces and exposed ignition sources (e.g. hobs, ovens,
radiators or candles).
8. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight. This could damage the
appliance irreparably.
9. Check the appliance regularly for any damage.
10. RISK OF INJURY! Do not operate the appliance if it displays any
signs of damage or has been otherwise damaged.
11. Please contact customer services if the appliance malfunctions or
there are any signs of damage.
