associations for electrical systems and equipment must be observed.
Assembly
•
When selecting the location for the installation of your color monitor, make sure to avoid exposure to direct, intensive
sunlight insolation, vibrations, dust, heat, cold and humidity.
•
No appliances with strong magnetic fields must be located nearby, as they could damage your color monitor.
•
No appliance with strong electric fields, e.g. cellular phone, radio unit, electric motor, should be located in the vicinity of
the color monitor.
•
Do not drill or screw any additional bolts into the housing for the mounting of the unit; dangerous voltages might become
touchable by doing so.
•
Direct sunlight or bright illumination can lead to strong reflections in the LCD screen and make viewing of the screen
images difficult; take this into consideration when selecting the installation location.
•
A voltage source (230 VAC for the wall power supply unit) must be available in the vicinity of the monitor.
•
Screw the wing screw of the base into the screw thread on the bottom of the monitor. Tighten the screw without using
force.
•
The lateral wing screw is used to set the tilt angle of the monitor. Tighten the screw without using force.
•
Alternatively, the monitor might be mounted to a wall, to a rack or a similar location with the help of an appropriate screw
by hanging it into the screw by means of the rail located on the rear of the unit. When using this method, ensure that
there is enough space left for the connecting cables.
Operation and connection
Only use the cables included for this purpose to connect your TFT color monitor. If other cables are used, operational faults
may arise. In order to avoid distortions or faulty adjustments that might damage the equipment, only appliances with a
suitable input or output may be connected to the monitor.
Make sure that the power plug of the power supply unit remains unplugged during the connection.
Connection
•
Connect the supplied cable with the monitor.
•
Now connect the supplied plug-in power pack.
The monitor is fitted with two video inputs (AV1/AV2) and one audio input. This gives you the possibility to connect two video
sources, e.g. DVD and VCD. Switching is done at the device or over remote control.

Note: The menu option „TINT" is only required with NTSC
