14. Operation

a) Switching On/Off

• Push the POWER (2) switch to switch the keyboard on or off.
• The display (18) will light up when the keyboard is switched on.

b) Setting the Volume

• Adjust the main volume with the MASTER VOL keys (3).
The key "+" increases volume, the key "-" reduces it.
Pushing both keys at the same time calls the factory pre-setting.
• Adjust the volume for the accompanying music or the demo songs with the keys ACCOM VOL (4).
The key "+" increases volume, the key "-" reduces it.
Pushing both keys at the same time calls the factory pre-setting.
After switching on the keyboard, the factory settings of the two volume controllers are pre-set.
The volume control for USB playback takes place separately via the keys of the USB player. The
MASTER VOL (3) and ACCOM VOL (4) keys thus do not influence the volume of USB playback.

c) Selecting the Instrument

The keyboard can play back 100 different instruments.
• Push the TIMBRE key (19) until the display (18) shows TONE.
After switching on, TONE is selected automatically.
• Select the desired instrument with the numeric keyboard (22).
A directory for the available instruments can be found in the print 100 TIMBRES to the left of the
display (18).
The instrument can be selected directly with the 10-digit keyboard or the keys "+" and "-".

d) Percussion Mode

• Push the KEYBOARD PERCUSSION key (33) to activate percussion mode.
• Push the keyboard keys to play the different percussion sounds. The keys are marked with symbols that
show the associated percussion sounds.
• Push the KEYBOARD PERCUSSION key (33) again to deactivate percussion mode again.
