5. Safety Information

In case of damage caused by non-compliance with these operating instructions, the warranty/
guarantee will expire. We do not assume any liability for consequential damage!
We do not assume any liability for damage to property or personal injury caused by improper
use or the failure to observe the safety instructions! In such cases the warranty/guarantee is
voided.
• For safety reasons, any unauthorized conversions and/or modifications to the product are not
permitted.
• The mains unit is set up in protection class II and must only be operated at a socket of the
public mains.
• Never touch the power unit with wet or damp hands. There is a risk of potentially fatal electric
shock!
• Never replace a damaged connection cable of the mains unit. If the connection cable is dam-
aged, the mains unit is unusable and must be disposed of. It must not be repaired.
• To disconnect the device completely from the mains, the mains plug has to be pulled out of the
socket.
• Do not expose the device to any high temperatures, dripping or splashing water, strong vibra-
tions or heavy mechanical stress.
• Never pour out fluids above electrical devices. Do not place any containers with liquids, e.g.
buckets, vases or plants, on or in direct proximity of the product. Liquids may get into the de-
vice and impair electrical safety. There is great danger of fire or potentially fatal electric shock!
If liquid enters the inside of the device, power down the respective mains socket (e.g. switch
off circuit breaker and FI switch) and pull the mains unit from the socket. Do not operate the
product anymore, but take it to a specialist workshop.
• Do not place any open sources of fire, such as burning candles, on or directly next to the de-
vice.
• Only operate the device in moderate climates, never in tropical climates.
• Never operate the device unattended.
• The product is not a toy and must be kept out of reach of children.
• Do not leave packing material unattended. It may become a dangerous toy for children.
• In schools, training centres, hobby and self-help workshops, the use of the product must be
supervised by responsible trained personnel.
• If you are not sure about the correct connection or if questions arise which are not covered by
the operating instructions, please do not hesitate to contact us or another specialist.
