Est-ce que le tiroir embrochable amovible peut être retiré et remis
en place sans forcer ?
Si cela n'est pas le cas, desserrez toutes les quatre vis et vérifiez
leurs longueurs, voir ci-dessus.
Vous avez éventuellement légèrement désaxé le cadre amovible
lors du vissage.
Revissez maintenant le cadre amovible.
• Refermez le rack de votre computer.
• Retirez le tiroir amovible embrochable et installez-y un disque dur IDE, voir point
suivant.
5. Montage d'un disque dur dans le tiroir
embrochable amovible
Uniquement un disque dur 3,5" IDE pourra être installé dans le tiroir embrochable
amovible.
• Eloignez le recouvrement en plastique sur la face supérieure du tiroir embrochable
amovible. Sur la face avant gauche de la face supérieure se situe un marquage
"OPEN" avec une flèche. A cet endroit du tiroir embrochable amovible se trouve
un petit crochet, que vous pourrez replier avec votre ongle d'env. 2 mm, le recou-
vrement en plastique se laissera alors retirer par l'arrière.
Lorsque vous enlevez le recouvrement plastique, ne forcez pas, le
crochet pourrait être endommagé et le recouvrement ne tient
alors plus ! Perte de la garantie !
• Configurez le réglage Master / Slave de votre disque dur IDE. Tenez compte ici de
la notice d'utilisation de votre disque dur.
• Enfichez le câble d'alimentation de courant dans la douille correspondante du dis-
que dur. Ne forcez pas et ne coincez pas la fiche, le raccordement sur le disque
dur pourrait dans ce cas être endommagé ! Cependant la fiche ne doit également
pas se laisser mettre en place trop facilement !
• Enfichez correctement, dans le bon sens le câble des données sur le raccorde-
ment du disque dur. En règle générale le Pin 1 se trouve à côté du raccordement
du courant ; le Pin 1 du câble des données est marquée d'une couleur.

4. Installing the alternation-plug-in-unit
in a PC
If you have no special knowledge for the connection with a com-
puter, it should be done by a specialist or by a special workshop.
Improper connection can destroy the keyboard, the computer and
all other components, plugged into the computer.
Danger to health!
Close all applications and switch off your PC.
Pull the main line plug!
Install the alternation rack with the alternation-plug-in-unit in the PC.
Reason: If the alternation rack were installed without the alternation-plug-in-unit, it
could may tilting while screw it up. If this happens, it will be hard to change the alter-
nation-rack.
• Remove the cover on the upper side of the alternation-plug-in-unit. On the left
upper front side is a marking "OPEN" with an arrow. On this side is a small hook
which can be bend out (2mm), so you can open the cover.
Do not use violence while you open the cover, hook go may dama-
ged. You will loose guarantee!
Please take the bag with the screws and the keys out.
• Unscrew the case of your PC carefully and remove the cover.
• Try to find a plug-in for a 5.25"-tape transport in your case and fix the alternation-
rack with four M3-screws. Use the two screw-holes with the M3-thread. The alter-
nation-rack must be installed, the key-switch is on the right side.
