7. Handling
It is only allowed to insert or remove the alternation-plug-in-unit, when all applicati-
ons were closed and the PC is switched off and the when the PC is removed from the
main voltage. It is not enough to switch the computer over the ATX-Power-key off.
Switch the PC over the main plug button on the back of the PC off, or remove the
man plug line.
Do not tilting the alternation-plug-in-unit while insert it in the alternation-rack.
Do not use violence while you insert the alternation-plug-in-unit to the alternation-
rack.
Please transport the alternation-plug-in-unit real carefully. Ideal for transporting is a
case with foamed material. Hard disk are very sensitive. May there were important
data on the hard disk in the alternation-plug-in-unit, which can be lost. So be really
carefully with this item.
8. Maintenance and Cleaning
This device need no maintenance.
An attendance or a repair only has to be done by a specialist or by a special works-
hop.
If you clean the device, only use dry and fluff free cloth.
Sometimes, you should control the fans, if they were dirty.
With a fine brush and a vacuum cleaner is it possible to remove the dirt.
If you do so, it is useful to remove the hard disk from the alternation-plug-in-unit and
clean them too. Control all your PC-fans and clean them, but before you open the PC
please remove the main line plug.
9. Disposal
An unusable device should be disposed of in accordance with applicable statutory
regulations.

Le produit ne doit être mis en service qu'avec un controller IDE correspondant, L'ali-
mentation en courant devra s'effectuer par un bloc d'alimentation PC approprié.
Le cadre d'installation devra être fixé dans le rack du computer à l'aide de 4 vis (file-
tage M3). Les vis ne devront avoir qu'une longueur max. de 6 mm (longueur du file-
tage env. 4-5 mm), afin que le tiroir embrochable amovible ne puisse pas être coincé.
Toute autre utilisation que celle prévue par la présente notice d'emploi provoquera la
destruction de cet appareil; en outre, cela engendrera des risques comme le risque
de court-circuit, d'incendie, d'électrocution etc. L'appareil dans son ensemble ne
doit ni être modifié ou transformé !
