1. Intended use
The product serves as a mobile device for playing back various files (AVI, MP3, JPG, BMP, TXT). In addition, it
has an internal memory of 4 GB, a FM radio and an integrated microphone for digital voice recording. Via the
USB cable that is included, files can be copied directly from the computer to the multimedia player and vice
versa. Power is supplied with an integrated LiPo battery that can be charged via a USB connection. Contact
with moisture, such as in bathrooms, must be avoided.
For safety and approval purposes (CE), you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use the product
for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. In addition, improper use can
cause hazards such as short circuiting, fire, electric shock etc. Read the instructions carefully and keep them.
Make this product available to third parties only together with its operating instructions.

3. Safety instructions

Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety information.
If you do not follow the safety instructions and information on proper handling in this
manual, we assume no liability for any resulting personal injury or damage to property.
Such cases will invalidate the warranty/guarantee.
Persons / Product
• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. These may become dangerous playing material
for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high humidity, moisture,
flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and protect it from any
accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height can damage the product.
• Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices which are connected to the product.
• Do not listen to excessively loud music over an extended period of time. This may damage your hearing.
Rechargeable batteries
• The rechargeable battery is permanently built into the product and cannot be replaced.
• Never damage the rechargeable battery. Damaging the casing of the rechargeable battery might cause an
explosion or a fire! Unlike conventional batteries/rechargeable batteries (e.g. AA or AAA type), the casing
of the LiPo rechargeable battery does not consist of a thin sheet but rather a sensitive plastic film only.
• Never short-circuit the contacts of the rechargeable battery. Do not throw the battery or the product into fire.
There is a danger of fire and explosion!
• Charge the rechargeable battery regularly, even if you do are not using the product. Due to the rechargeable
battery technology being used, you do not need to discharge the rechargeable battery first.
• Never charge the rechargeable battery of the product unattended.
• When charging, place the product on a surface that is not heat-sensitive. It is normal that a certain amount
of heat is generated during charging.
Miscellaneous
• Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of the device.
• Maintenance, modifications and repairs are to be performed exclusively by an expert or at a qualified shop.
• If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating instructions, contact our technical
support service or other technical personnel.

5. Operation

Charging multimedia player
1. Charge the battery completely before using the multimedia player for the first time.
2. Connect the Mini-B plug of the USB cable to the matching connector of the multimedia player and connect
the USB-A plug to a free USB socket on your computer.
3. The battery will automatically start to charge. Charging will take approx. 1.5 hours.
4. Separate the multimedia player from the USB power source when the charging process is done.
Connecting to a computer
1. Connect the Mini-B plug of the USB cable to the matching connector of the multimedia player and connect
the USB-A plug to a free USB socket on your computer.
2. The multimedia player is automatically recognised as a drive.
3. Store your files (e.g., MP3 files) on the multimedia player.
4. Always deactivate the multimedia player via your operating system before you separate the USB cable from
the multimedia player or from the computer.
Switching on/off / lock function
1. Hold the
button (7) down approx. 3 seconds to switch the product on/off.
2. Press the
button to lock the LC display (1) and the +/- buttons (5, 6). Press it again to deactivate the
lock function.
The lock function can only be activated while in the main menu.
Navigating the menu
1. After switching on, the first page of the main menu is displayed on the LC display (1).
2. Touch the LC display (1) with your finger nail. Move your finger nail with
slight pressure from right to left
3. To return to the first main menu page, move your finger nail with slight
pressure from left to right

4. Select the desired sub-menu by touching the corresponding symbol with
slight pressure.
5. To scroll down / up in the sub-menu, move your finger nail with slight
pressure up
/ down

To return to the previous menu from a sub-menu, move your finger nail with slight pressure
from left to right
Earphones
The product has a 3.5 mm stereo socket (3) to which you can connect the earphones included.
Volume control
Press the + button (5) / - button (6) to increase/decrease the volume.
Music menu (playing music)
Replay mode; press once to stop the replay.
Pause mode; press once to continue the replay.
Press once to call up the next title; hold down for fast forward.
Press once to call up the previous title; hold down for rewind.

To switch from the music replay menu into the list of music files, move your finger nail with
slight pressure from right to left
You have the possibility of making other settings for music replay in the "Settings/Music" menu
(see "Settings menu" section).
Video menu (playing videos)
The product plays videos in the AVI format at a 128 x 128 pixel resolution. Use the software
included to convert the video files to this format and to scale down the resolution (see section
"Installing video converter software").
Select the desired file from the list of video files by touching it with slight pressure. The replay of the film will
begin.
Replay mode; press once to stop the replay.
Pause mode; press once to continue the replay.
Press once to call up the next video; hold down for fast forward.
Press once to call up the previous video; hold down for rewind.

Text menu (display text files)
Select the desired file from the list of text files by touching it with slight pressure. The text file is displayed.

Photo menu (display photos)

1. Select the desired file from the list of photo files by touching it with slight pressure. The photo will be
displayed.

Record menu (recording)
Set the desired recording quality in the "Settings/Record Settings" menu.
The recordings are stored on the multimedia player under: "Explorer / RECORD".
For optimal results, place the product as close as possible to the sound source or voice you
want to record.
Recording stopped; press once to start/continue the recording.
Recording is running; press once to stop the recording.
Press once to finish the recording.
