9. Battery Replacement

The batteries in the outdoor sensor have a lifetime of up to 3 years (high-
quality alkaline batteries).
They must be replaced when the display of the corresponding display
device shows the battery symbol for the sensor.
Remove the outdoor sensor from the mounting support (see chapter 8.c)
and insert new batteries (as described in chapter 8.a). After battery
replacement, the sensor is ready for operation again.

10. Handling

• Protect the product against dust and direct sunlight. Never operate the
product in or under water and do not expose it to water jets (e.g. from
a garden hose).
• Do not operate the product in unprotected outdoor areas, but only e.g.
underneath a roof overhang.
• Never dismantle the product (except for mounting purposes or battery
replacement). Have the device repaired only by an experienced tech-
nician. Otherwise the unit's approval and guarantee will expire.
• Do not drop the product even from a low height as this might damage
it.
• Keep the product out of reach of children.
