Mounting the base

1. Lay the washer (Fig. 1/4) on the base (Fig. 2/A) you would like to use. Make sure that
the washer is placed into the recess provided for this purpose.
2. Screw the base anti-clockwise onto the thread of the spotlight against the stop.
3. Secure the nut on the top end of the thread to avoid undesired loosening of the base
(Fig. 2/B). For this purpose use the special spanner (Fig. 1/6), hold the socket and turn
the nut clockwise with the spanner.
NOTE:
Check the tight fit of the base by holding the base and turning the spotlight. The
spotlight must be free to rotate 360° to right and left, without bthe base coming loose.
Positioning the schegoLUX~mini
With mounting foot
1. Drill a hole into the subbase and insert a suitable dowel (not included in the scope of
delivery) into the hole.
NOTE:
The brass dowel (Fig. 1/8) included in the scope of delivery is most suitable for wooden
or stone subbases. If you use the brass dowel in a very hard material (e.g. granite) you
must make sure that the dowel is inserted for at least 10 mm.
2. Place the round recess in the mounting foot (Fig. 3/1) over the drilled hole and fasten
the spotlight with a screw (not included in the scope of delivery).
NOTE:
In case of too lose subbases assembled the mounting foot on a stone or heavy slab and
then move the spotlight to the desired location.
With floor plate
1. Choose a flat location in your pond.
2. Lower the spotlight with floor plate down to this place and load the floor plate with
a suitable weight, e.g. a stone.
With spit
1. Check the strength of the subbase.
ATTENTION:
In case of too loose soil the spotlight may tip over, with too dense soil the spit may be
damaged. In order to avoid this from happening, we recommend the use of the
mounting foot.
