zen in the layer of ice, housing and glass lens can be damaged. Consequently always
position the spotlight in such a manner that it cannot be frozen into the pond if tempe-
ratures drop below freezing. If necessary take the spotlight out of the water if freezing
temperatures are forecast.
The following always applies:
Do not leave the spotlight unattended if children or other persons, who are unable to
assess the risks, are in the vicinity.
The spotlight is not designed for use by persons (including children) with restricted
physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or with insufficient experience and/or
knowledge, unless such persons are supervised by a person who is responsible for
their safety, or if they have received instructions on how to use the device from the
person who is responsible for their safety.
Preparation
Unpack the complete scope of delivery and check the contents for completeness and
integrity. Equipment overview
Always transport/send the spotlight in its original packaging, to avoid damage. Keep the
packaging material for this purpose.
Dispose of packaging material, that is no longer needed, in compliance with applicable
regulations. If you discovered transport damage you should immediately contact the
dealer from whom you had purchased the spotlight.
Replacing the illuminant
The power LED illuminant is permanently installed in the spotlight housing and cannot
be replaced. If the LED is defective the spotlight must be completely replaced.
Mounting variants
You can choose from various mounting variants. You must either mount one of the bases
for individual fastening in various environments, or you may use the brass dowel
(Fig. 1/8) for direct mounting of the spotlight to wooden or stone bases.
The following bases are available:
1
Mounting foot (Fig. 1/5): For durable and stable fastening on various bases made of
stone or wood or on the walls of buildings.
2
Floor plate (Fig. 1/9): For use under water. The floor plate offers sufficient space for
placing weights to avoid undesired buoyancy.
3
Spit (Fig. 1/10): For use in loose bases like earth or sand.
