Connecting the schegoLUX~light
With floor plate
ATTENTION:
The halogen lamp works with electric current. Water entering into the housing can
damage halogen lamp and transformer. Before submerging the halogen lamp in the
water, check whether locking ring and halogen lamp housing are tightly screwed on
and that all seal rings are in place.
1. Choose a flat location in your pond.
2. Lower the halogen lamp with floor plate down to this place and load the floor plate
with a suitable weight, e.g. a stone.
With spit
1. Check the strength of the subbase.
ATTENTION:
In case of too loose soil the halogen lamp may tip over, with too dense soil the spit may
be damaged. In these cases we recommend the use of the mounting foot.
2. Insert the halogen lamp with spit directly into the ground at the desired location and
check its stability.

ATTENTION:
Incorrect voltage can damage the halogen lamp. You should only connect the halogen
lamp to a power supply unit with maximum 12V output.
1. Connect the plug connector (Fig. 1/11) with the power supply unit (not part of the
delivery).
ATTENTION:
Incorrect voltage can damage the power supply unit. Only connect the power supply
unit, if the electric voltage specified on the power supply unit complies with the
voltage of your wall outlet.
2. Insert the mains plug of the power supply unit into an earthing contact socket.
