Preparation
WARNING:
The halogen lamp is made of brass with nickel alloy. Nickel can cause allergic reactions.
If you have already experienced a nickel allergy you should avoid direct physical
contact with the halogen lamp In this case use gloves or a cloth when working with the
halogen lamp.
ATTENTION:
If you use the halogen lamp underwater and due to temperatures below freezing, it is
frozen in the layer of ice, it an be damaged. Consequently always position the halogen
lamp in such a manner that it cannot be frozen into the pond if temperatures drop
below freezing. If necessary take the halogen lamp out of the water if freezing tempe-
ratures are forecast.
The following always applies:
Do not leave the halogen lamp unattended if children or other persons, who are
unable to assess the risks, are in the vicinity.
The halogen lamp is not designed for use by persons (including children) with
restricted physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or with insufficient experience
and/or knowledge, unless such persons are supervised by a person who is
responsible for their safety, or if they have received instructions on how to use the
device from the person who is responsible for their safety.
Preparation
Unpack the complete scope of delivery and check the contents for completeness and
integrity. Overview / scope of delivery
Always transport/send the halogen lamp in its original packaging, to avoid damage. Keep
the packaging material for this purpose.
Dispose of packaging material, that is no longer needed, in compliance with applicable
regulations. If you discovered transport damage you should immediately contact the
dealer from whom you had purchased the halogen lamp.
Mounting variants
You can choose from various mounting variants. You may either mount one of the bases
(see below) or you may use the brass dowels (Fig. 1/6) to fasten the halogen lamp
permanently to a wooden or stone base. The following bases are available:
1. Mounting foot (Fig. 1/4): For durable and stable fastening on various bases made of
stone or wood or on the walls of buildings.
2. Floor plate (Fig. 1/1): For use under water. The floor plate offers sufficient space for
placing weights to avoid undesired buoyancy.
3. Spit (Fig. 1/2): For use in loose bases like earth or sand.
