15 Handling of the mobile terminal and the docking station

15.1

Mobile terminal

15.1.1 Switching on

Please use the following buttons in order to switch the mobile terminal on:
Button "C" + button "orange" to the right of the "0" button held simultaneously.
The status LED turns green as soon as the mobile terminal is switched on. The desktop of the operating
system or your usual work environment appears on the display.

15.1.2 Switching off

Please use the following buttons in order to switch the mobile terminal off:
Button "C" + button "↓" + button "orange" held simultaneously (held for 5 seconds)
The status LED goes out as soon as the mobile terminal is switched off.
Once the device is switched off, the memory is no longer supplied, i.e. all important data must be
permanently saved in a flash disc folder beforehand. Once switched on, the operating system reboots. This
makes it possible to cold-start the mobile terminal.

15.1.3 Suspend mode

In suspend mode, the operating system and the application running on it are paused. The display is switched
off and becomes dark. The mobile terminal consumes very little power in suspend mode.
Please use the following buttons in order to activate suspend mode:
Button "C" + button "orange" held simultaneously (held for 2 seconds)
Please use the following buttons in order to leave suspend mode:
Button "C" + button "orange" held simultaneously (held for 2 seconds)
When leaving suspend mode, the application and the operating system are re-launched from the same point
at which they were paused.
