Intended use
This product is designed to light indoor and outdoor areas and is IP65 rated. It can be
mounted and operated in indoor and outdoor areas and is not dimmable. This product
is designed to be mounted on a floor, wall or ceiling. The LED floodlight can be turned
on/off manually. A switch must be installed for this purpose; this is not included with
the product. The LED floodlight can be secured to different surfaces with screws. The
safety information and all other information in these operating instructions must be
followed!
For safety and approval purposes (CE), you must not rebuild and/or modify this product.
If you use the product for purposes other than those described above, the product may
be damaged. In addition, improper use can cause hazards such as short circuiting,
fire, electric shock etc. Read the instructions carefully and keep them. Make this
product available to third parties only together with its operating instructions.

Meaning of symbols
The symbol with the lightning in the triangle is used if there is a risk to
your health, e.g. due to an electric shock.
The exclamation mark indicates specific risks associated with
handling, function and use.
The "arrow" symbol indicates special tips and operating information.
The round protective glass is defective and must be replaced
immediately. The product must not be used when the protective glass
is defective.
The square protective glass is defective and must be replaced
immediately. The product must not be used when the protective glass
is defective.
The product is not dimmable.
This symbol reminds you to read the operating instructions included
with the product.

Safety instructions

Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety
information. If you do not follow the safety instructions and information on
proper handling in this manual, we assume no liability for any resulting
personal injury or damage to property. Such cases will invalidate the
warranty/guarantee.
• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. These may
become dangerous playing material for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong
jolts, high humidity, moisture, flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of
operation and protect it from any accidental use. Safe operation can no
longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a
low height can damage the product.
• Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices
which are connected to the product.
• Mount the floodlight so that children cannot reach it.
• The LED floodlight must only be operated using the mains voltage (see
"Technical data" section). Never try to operate the product using another
type of voltage as this will destroy the product.
• The product is designed according to protection class I; the earth wire
must be connected.
• Attention, LED light: Do not look directly into the LED light! Do not look into
the beam directly or with optical instruments!
• The LED floodlight is designed according to IP65 and can be mounted
and operated both indoors and outdoors. However, never mount the LED
floodlight in or under water.
• Ensure that you mount the floodlight in the correct mounting position (see
"Mounting and connection" section), otherwise there is a risk of a fatal
electric shock!
• The LED floodlight must be not be operated using a dimmer.
• Do not mount and use the product in rooms or in adverse environmental
conditions that contain or may contain flammable gases, vapours or dust!
There is a risk of explosion!
• Never point a garden hose or a pressure washer etc. at the product (e.g.
for cleaning)!
• The LED floodlight must only be used when mounted in a fixed location.
Never mount the floodlight in vehicles.
• Do not hang or secure any objects (e.g. decorations) to the LED floodlight.
• Never cover the LED floodlight. The surface gets very hot; covering the
device not only constitutes a fire hazard but may also cause the LED
floodlight to overheat, damaging the product.
• In industrial facilities, the accident prevention regulations for electrical
equipment and facilities issued by the Industrial Employers' Liability
Association must be adhered to!
• Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of
the device.
• Maintenance, modifications and repairs are to be performed exclusively
by an expert or at a qualified shop.
• If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating
instructions, contact our technical support service or other technical
personnel.
Preparation for mounting
Pay attention to the "Safety instructions" section.
Warning! The product must only be installed by a qualified electrician
who is familiar with the relevant regulations (e.g. VDE)! By carrying out
improper work on the mains voltage you endanger not only yourself, but
also others! If you do not know how to mount the product, get an expert to
do it for you; do not mount it yourself.
• Only mount the LED floodlight on a stable surface. Depending on the surface,
suitable screws and dowels must be used.
• The LED floodlight must be protected with a 10/16A fuse at the sub-distribution. An
earth leakage circuit breaker must be installed before this.
• The LED floodlight may only be installed when it is disconnected from the power
supply. It is not sufficient just to turn off the light switch!
• Isolate all poles of the mains cable from the mains supply by removing the electric
circuit fuse or switching off the circuit breaker. Then turn off the earth leakage
circuit breaker. Protect it against an unauthorised restart, e.g. with a danger sign.
• Check that the mains cable is free of current, e.g. with an appropriate testing device.
