Mounting the radio camera
None of the connection cables must be bent nor squeezed. This can result in
malfunctions, short circuits and defects in the device.
Make sure that cables are not damaged, when drilling or bolting into place.
The camera and the receiver are only intended for use indoors, in dry areas.
• Find a suitable location for mounting the camera.
• There are 2 holes for installation in the mounting bracket. Mark these (e.g. with a pencil) on
the wall.
• Drill the holes.
• Fix the "camera bracket" (2), using suitable mounting material, to the wall.
• Adjust the camera to the desired position.
Do not point the camera directly toward a source of bright sunlight or towards strong
or indirect illumination as this may lead to overexposure and a fuzzy picture.
Connecting the radio camera
• Connect the low voltage plug of the transformer supplied to the "DC IN 8 V/DC" (1) power
connection on your wireless camera.
• Plug the transformer into a suitable mains socket.
Connecting the radio receiver
• Connect the jack plug, on the audio/video cable provided to "A/V out" (8).
• Connect the adapter cable's red jack plug to the display device's audio input.
• Connect the adapter cable's yellow jack plug to the display device's video input.
• Screw the antenna on to the antenna connection (6) of the receiver.
• Connect the low-voltage plug, of the transformer supplied, to the "DC IN 8 V/DC" (7) power
connection on your wireless receiver.
• Plug the transformer into a suitable mains socket.
To avoid distortion or mismatching that could damage the appliance, the audio con-
nection plug (white) may only be connected to an audio cinch input.
The video connection plug (yellow) may only be connected to a video cinch input.
If you are not sure about the correct connection, contact our technical support or
another specialist.
To extend the audio and video signal, only use suitably shielded cinch cables. The
use of other cables might cause interference. Keep the length of the cable as short
as possible.
Start-up
Make sure the mains transformers are connected to the receiver as well as to the camera.
Plug the two transformers for the wireless system into the mains sockets.
Turn your display device on, and set the correct channel to enable the display function.
Setting and selecting channels
An appropriate channel can be selected manually, using the "channel selector" (10) on the
receiver.
Automatic channel switching is selected, via the "LOOP switch" (5).
This system contains camera transmission via "channel 1".
Maintenance and Cleaning
Before cleaning the housing of the surveillance camera or control unit, remove it from the mains
voltage and disconnect the mains adapter from the mains socket.
For cleaning the outside of the camera, it is only necessary to use a dry, soft and clean cloth.
Clean the lens very carefully, otherwise you may scratch it. Do not use any aggressive cleaning
agents.
Disposal
Electrical and electronic products do not belong in the household waste!
Please dispose of the device, when it is no longer of use, according to the current
statutory requirements.
