2.4 GHz Pinhole Colour Camera Set

Intended Use
This 2.4 GHz pinhole colour camera set is for mounting in, and protecting, secluded or critical
areas (e.g. surveillance of stores, intercommunication systems, entrances and so on).
The camera and the receiver are only intended for use indoors, in dry areas.
The picture and sound are transmitted to the receiver by wireless, at a frequency of 2.4 GHz
(Gigahertz).
The receiver is designed for connection (video and audio) to equipment such as televisions.
The power is supplied via the power transformer (8 V/DC) provided.
Please bear in mind that it is prohibited by law to observe strangers with a camera without their
knowledge and consent.
Do not use in any other way than that stated above as this can damage the product which may
cause short-circuit, fi re, electrical shock, etc. The product must not be modifi ed or converted.
The safety instructions in this manual should be observed at all times. Please read the opera-
ting manual carefully and keep it for later reference.

Symbols
A lightning-bolt symbol in a triangle indicates a health hazard, e.g. danger of electric
shock.
The exclamation mark in a triangle indicates a particular risk in handling, operation
and control.
The "Hand" symbol indicates special tips and operating information.
Safety Instructions
The warranty will lapse in the event of damage caused by failure to observe these
safety instructions! We do not assume any liability for material and personal damage
caused by improper use or non-compliance with the safety instructions!
The exclamation mark indicates important points in these operating instructions that
should always be observed.
• The system components must not be modifi ed or converted, as not only the CE
approval will become void but also the warranty.
• The system components must not be exposed to extreme temperatures, direct
sunlight, intense vibration or heavy mechanical stress.
• Where the devices are used connected to other devices e.g. a television, the ope-
rating instructions and safety notices of the devices connected must be followed.
• The use of the surveillance camera system does not replace personal supervision
of children or people who require special assistance, but only serves as a support
to this supervision.
• This camera system uses and generates high frequency energy. If the devices
are not installed and operated in accordance with these instructions, they can
cause radio interference. If the wireless camera system causes interference to
other equipment, try one or more of the following measures listed below, in order
to restore normal operation:
- Change the position of the camera.
- Increase the distance between the device affected and the radio camera or the
receiver for the radio camera system.
- Select another transmission channel.
• After rapid changes in temperature, the system components require approx. 15
min. to stabilise, so as to adjust to the surrounding temperature, before they can
be used.
• The system components are not toys and should be kept out of the reach of children!
• The supplied transformer conform to protection class II. It may only be plugged into
a standard household 230V~/50Hz mains socket.

Additionally, the camera is equipped with a microphone on the back.
Assembly
Find a suitable place for mounting, from which the area to be monitored can be observed.
A suitable place for installation of this camera has the following features:
• Vibration-free
• No direct sunlight
• Dry indoor location
• Please contact a qualifi ed person if you are unsure about the safety and correct
use of the system components.
• Never let the packaging material lie around unattended. Plastic foil / bags etc. can
be dangerous toys for children, there is a risk of suffocation.
• If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer possible, disconnect
the device immediately and secure it against inadvertent operation.
• Never plug in, or remove, the transformer with wet hands.
• Never pull the cable of the transformer. Always pull the transformer out of the
mains socket by gripping its housing.
• For safety reasons, always disconnect the transformers from the mains socket
during thunderstorms.
• It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
- the device is visibly damaged,
- the device does not operate any longer and
- the device was stored under unfavourable conditions for a long period of time or
- it has been subjected to considerable stress during transportation.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the Employer's
Liability Insurance Association for Electrical Systems and Operating Materials are
to be observed.
• The receiver and camera supplied with this system must not be exposed to wet or
damp. The product is approved only for use in dry rooms.
• Maintenance, adjustment and repair may only be carried out by a qualifi ed spe-
cialist or a specialised repair shop.

Select a mounting location that is not shielded, for example, by reinforced concrete
walls, steamed up mirrors or metal shelves. There should be no devices that pro-
duce strong electrical fi elds, such as mobile telephones, radios or electrical motors,
close to the device.
These can affect the wireless transmission.
