In the "MP_ROOT" folder, also create the following sub-folders:
"100MNV01" and "100ANV01".
Overview of folder structure (excl. sub-folders):
These folders are used for saving data on the PS3™ as long as the hard drive is for-
matted with the FAT32 file system.
After formatting the hard drive please proceed as follows:
• Remove the hard drive insert (label: HD DISK) from the rear of the device.
• Insert a 6.35 cm (2.5") SATA hard drive making sure it is in the correct position.
• Secure the hard drive to the insert, e.g. using the supplied fixing screws.
• Insert the hard drive insert with hard drive into the designated slot for the hard
drive insert.
