AUTO mode:
Set the slide switches „SW1" and „SW2" to the AUTO position.
The motion detector activates the connected load according to the
settings for the rotary knobs „TIME" and „LUX".
TIMER mode:
Set slide switch „SW1" to the „TIMER" position and slide switch
„SW2" to the „AUTO" position.
The motion detector activates the connected load for approx. 1 second on detecting a motion. Finally, the
motion detector cuts off the load for approx. 9 seconds, even if it detects a motion inside the detection range.
Explanation of the rotary knobs TIME, LUX and SENS
Rotary knob TIME:
The TIME rotary knob is used to set the time the connected load is activated when a motion is detected. The
set value can vary from approx. 6 seconds to max. approx. 20 minutes.
Rotary knob LUX:
The LUX rotary knob is used to set the brightness threshold from activating the motion detection. Setting
range: Approx. 2 to 1000 LUX.
Rotary knob SENS:
The SENS rotary knob is used to set the detection range for the motion detector. A motion detection range of
approx. 12 meters is guaranteed, if the rotary knob is set to maximum (Position +). A motion detection range
of approx. 2 meters is guaranteed, if the rotary knob is set to minimum (Position -).

Functional test

• Connect the operating voltage and wait for the motion detector to stabilise (approx. 60 seconds). Do not
move into the area covered by the motion detector during this time.
• Move through the detection range, after the stabilisation time for the motion detector has expired.
• Check whether the settings for the motion detector correspond to your requirements.
• Adjust the settings and rotary knobs, if necessary.
The stabilisation phase takes approx. 60 seconds. The connected load is activated during
the stabilisation phase.
Replacement of micro-fuse (Type: T6.3A250V)
The motion detector has a replaceable micro-fuse (type:
T6.3A250V).
Make sure that the motion detector is disconnected from the
mains supply when replacing a micro-fuse. Pull out the front
casing, containing the diffuser lens, from the rear section of the
case, containing the installation plate and connecting terminal.
Remove the fuse as shown in the figure and replace it with a new
fuse. Place the fuse in the motion detector again.
Replace the front part, containing the diffuser lens, on the rear section of the casing. Reconnect the mains sup-
ply to the motion detector.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Apart from occasional cleaning of the diffuser lens, this product is maintenance free.
Please use a dry, clean, lint-free antistatic cloth to clean the motion detector. Do not use abrasive or chemical
agents, or cleaners containing solvents. Do not press too hard on the diffusion lens.
Disposal
Electrical and electronic products do not belong in the household waste!
Please dispose of the device, when it is no longer of use, according to the current statutory
requirements.
