Mode Menu
Two locate modes are available: Line and Sonde
•
Push the 4-way navigation button (up/Down/Left/Right) to highlight the Mode menu.
•
Push the Select button to open the Mode menu
•
Push the 4-way navigation button (Up or Down) to highlight a desired locate mode.
•
Push Select button to activate the desired locate mode
•
Push Back to return to the previous menu interface

Line Locate
Line locate is used to trace the cable using the T-5000 signal transmitter

Sonde Locate
Sonde Locate is used to trace the cable using the M-5000 sonde transmitter. The R-5000 receiver automatically adjusts
its depth calculation algorithms to reflect the differences between a line radiating a transmitter signal and the signal
generated by a sonde transmitter.
