Collecting a Blood Sample

Please follow the instructions for use in the lancing device insert for
collecting a blood sample.
Warning! To reduce the chance of infection:
• Always use a new, sterile lancet. Lancets are for single use only.
• Never share a lancet or the lancing device with another perso.
• Please be very careful when handling with blood samples. Improper procedures
may cause serious hazards to your health.
• Fingertip testing:
Press the lancing device' s tip firmly against the
lower side of your fingertip. Press the release
button to prick your finger, then a click indicates
that the puncture is complete.
• Blood from sites other than the fingertip
(AST):
Replace the lancing device cap with the clear
cap for AST.
