Performing a Control Solution Test

The Gluceofine® Pro control solution contains a known amount of Glucose
(sugar) that reacts with the enzyme on the test strip. It is used to check,
if meter and test strips are working together properly and the results are
accurate.
When should the control solution test be performed?
• For mandatory quality check of professionals (POCT)
• At least once a week to routinely check the meter and test strips.
• Whenever you suspect that the meter or test strips are not working
properly.
• When your blood glucose test results are inconsistent with how you feel,
or when you think your results are inaccurate.
• For instruction or if you want to practice the testing process.
• If you drop the meter or think you may have damaged the meter.
Gluceofine® Pro Control Solution is not contained in the meter set. It is
available as set (normal / high level) with your local distributor or directly
with METRADO GmbH (see last page for contact information).
