The address even remains saved if the operating voltage is
switched off, and is modifiable only if you go through the
preceding procedure again.
In order to be able to control the transmission path between receiver and
gas meter, it makes sense to put the receiver into operation first according
to its operating manual and afterwards to switch the operating voltage on
at the gas meter.
As the later sends a data packet immediately after being switched on, it
should be detected by the receiver almost simultaneously.
Once the data packet is received the green LED "Reception" at the receiver
starts to blink, thus indicating that the transmission path functions correctly.
The address of the gas meter sensor is also modifiable subsequently.
Set the address; pull the power supply unit and after a few seconds insert
it again; the sensor communicates the new address to the receiver with the
first data packet initialisation.
The new address must be set in its software immediately so that it stores the
sensor data.
