5. Safety Instructions

In the case of any damages which are caused due to the
failure to observe these operating instructions, the guar-
antee will expire. We do not assume any liability for result-
ing damage!
Nor do we assume liability for damage to property or
personal injury caused by improper use or the failure to
observe the safety instructions. The guarantee will expire
in any such case!
• The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product is
inadmissible because of safety and approval reasons (CE).
• Do not use this product in hospitals or medical institutions. Although the
product emits only relatively weak radio signals, these may lead to
malfunction of life-supporting systems. The same may be the case in
other areas.
• The product must only be used in dry interiors, it must not get damp or
wet.
Danger to life through an electric shock!
• Avoid strong heat, cold or direct sun radiation during storing/operating
the device.
• The product is to be used via an external power supply unit which has an
output power of max. 15VA.
It must be equipped with an output voltage of 12-20V= (direct voltage)
and should be able to deliver a current of approximately 100mA (max.
current consumption of the "ES-4" approx. 65mA).
