Select a Line Type

When the following screen is displayed, select a line type.

• To connect directly to the telephone jack on the wall
• To connect to a PBX extension line or a xDSL splitter
Use the [] button to select Telephone line, then press the OK button.

Premere il pulsante [] per selezionare Linea telefonica (Telephone

When the following screen is displayed, set the Telephone line type.

Legen Sie den Telefonleitungstyp (Telephone line type) fest, wenn der folgende Bildschirm angezeigt wird.
Quando viene visualizzata questa schermata, impostare il Tipo linea telef. (Telephone line type).
• A tone type
Use the [] button to select Touch tone, then press the OK button.
• Type avec tonalités
Utilisez le bouton [] pour sélectionner Tonalités, puis appuyez sur le
bouton OK.
• Tonwahl
Wählen Sie mit der Taste [] die Option Tonwahl (Touch tone) aus, und
drücken Sie dann die Taste OK.
• Tipo di tono
Premere il pulsante [] per selezionare Selezione tonale (Touch tone),
quindi premere il pulsante OK.
• To connect to an internet telephone
• To connect to a xDSL modem
• To connect to an ISDN line
Use the [] button to select IP telephone line, then press the OK button.

When the following screen is displayed, select "whether or not to use an answering machine in case fax and telephone are on the
same line".
Lorsque l'écran suivant s'affiche, sélectionnez « d'utiliser ou non un répondeur au cas où le fax et le téléphone ne soient pas sur la
même ligne ».
Wählen Sie aus, „ob ein Anrufbeantworter verwendet werden soll, wenn Fax und Telefon dieselbe Leitung nutzen", wenn der
folgende Bildschirm angezeigt wird.
Quando viene visualizzata la seguente schermata, selezionare "se utilizzare o meno una segreteria telefonica nel caso in cui il fax
e il telefono condividano la stessa linea".
• If you want to use an answering machine
Use the [] button to select Use, then press the OK button.

Utilisez le bouton [] pour sélectionner Utiliser, puis appuyez sur le
bouton OK.
