Troubleshooting

By purchasing this system you have acquired a product that has been designed to the state of the art and is
operationally reliable. Nevertheless, problems or faults may occur.
Therefore, we would like to describe here how to eliminate possible faults:
Always observe the safety instructions!
No sound is audible:
• A device in the playback chain is not turned on.
• The wrong input was selected on the amplifier.
• The button EXTERNAL PROCESSOR (6) has been pressed, but the connected device is not switched on or there
is no device connected.
• • The volume control (5) is set to minimum.
One channel does not function:
• A cinch cable was disconnected from the source device (e.g. the cassette deck) or the amplifier input.
• A loudspeaker cable was disconnected from the loudspeaker clamp.
There is a buzzing sound:
• The amplifier input receives an excess signal.
• The volume is set too high and the loudspeakers distort.
• The sound controls for treble and bass are set too high.
• The ground connection of the earth terminate has not been attached or has come loose (only for phono playback).
• A cinch cable is defective.
The sound is distorted:
• The amplifier input receives an excess signal.
• The volume is set too high and the loudspeakers distort.
• The control source is a high level device and was wrongly connceted to the phono input on the amplifier.
