Electrical Connections

Before making any connections, verify the type of load cell interface. The fifth character
of the product ID indicates if the unit is analog or DigiTOL
TO AVOID DAMAGE TO THE PCB OR LOAD CELL, REMOVE POWER FROM THE TERMINAL
AND WAIT AT LEAST 30 SECONDS BEFORE CONNECTING OR DISCONNECTING ANY
HARNESS OR CONNECTING OR DISCONNECTING ANY ULTRARES OR DIGITOL
Determine maximum cable length. The maximum cable length for analog load cell
connections to the terminal depends on the total scale resistance (TSR) of the scale
base. To calculate TSR:
