Wireless Controller is supplied via 2 x 1.5 V micro batteries (Type:
AAA).
All system components are only approved for use in dry indoor locations.
Any use other than that described above could lead to damage to this product and involves
the risk of short circuits, fire, electric shock, etc. The safety instructions must be followed
at all times. No part of the product should be modified or reassembled.
The safety instructions are to be observed without fail!
Explanation of the Symbols
A lightning-bolt symbol in a triangle indicates a health hazard, e.g. danger of
electric shock.
An exclamation mark in a triangle indicates a particular risk during handling,
operation and control.
The „Hand" symbol indicates special tips and operating information.

Safety Instructions

The warranty will be void in the event of damage by failure to observe
these safety instructions! We do not assume liability for consequential
damage!
We do not assume any liability for material and personal damage caused
by improper use or non-compliance with the safety instructions. The
warranty will be void in such cases.
• The system components must not be modified or converted, as not
only the CE approval will become void but also the warranty.
• Do not use this product in hospitals or medical institutions. The pro-
duct emits radio signals that could lead to malfunctions of life-sup-
porting systems. The same may be the case in other areas.
• Do not touch leaking or oxidised batteries with your bare hands. Use
protective gloves.
• The voltage of the Wii
micro batteries (Type: AAA).
• The system components must not be exposed to extreme tem-
peratures, direct sunlight, intense vibration, humidity or heavy
mechanical stress.
• After rapid changes in temperature, the product requires some time to
adjust to the surrounding temperature. Wait until the components have
adjusted to the ambient temperature before use.
• The system components are not toys and should be kept out of the
reach of children!
• Please contact a qualified specialist, if you are unsure about the
correct use of the product or regarding the safety.
• Never leave the packaging material lying around unattended. Plastic
film/bags etc. can be dangerous playthings for children, there is a risk
of suffocation.
• If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer possible,
disconnect the device immediately and secure it against inadvertent
operation.
• It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
- the device is visibly damaged,
- the device does not function any longer and
- if the device was stored under unfavourable conditions for a long
period of time
or
- it has been subjected to considerable stress during transportation.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the
Employer's Liability Insurance Association for Electrical Systems and
Operating Materials are to be observed.

• Ensure that no sources of magnetism or electro-magnetism or heat
sources are in the vicinity of the product.
• Do not expose the product to any mechanical stress. Falls from low
°
heights and pressure can damage the device.
• Never pour fluids out above electrical devices.
• Maintenance, adjustment and repair may only be carried out by a
qualified specialist or a specialised repair shop.
• If you have any questions, which are not answered in this manual,
please contact our technical service or another specialist.
Notes on Batteries and Rechargeable Batteries
• Keep batteries and rechargeable batteries out of the reach of children.
• Check that the polarity is correct when inserting the batteries/rechargeable batteries (pay
attention to plus/+ and minus/-).
• Do not leave batteries/rechargeable batteries lying around; they could be swallowed by
children or pets. If swallowed, consult a doctor immediately.
• Leaking or damaged batteries/rechargeable batteries can cause chemical burns on
contact with the skin, if suitable protective gloves are not used.
• Make sure that batteries/accumulators are not short-circuited, disassembled or thrown
into a fire. There is a risk of explosion!
• Do not recharge normal batteries. There is a risk of explosion! Only charge rechargeab-
le batteries that are intended for this purpose; use a suitable battery charger.
• If the product is not to be used for a longer period (e.g. storage), remove the inserted
batteries or rechargeable batteries. Old batteries may leak and cause damage to the pro-
duct, which will lead to the loss of the warranty/guarantee!
• For the environmentally friendly disposal of batteries and rechargeable batteries, please
read the chapter „Disposal".
Start-up
• Connect the dongle provided to your Wii
Remote Controller.
• Open the battery compartment of the Wii
Wireless Controller.
• Insert 2 x 1.5 V micro batteries observing the
correct polarity ( Battery type: AAA).
• Close the battery compartment of the Wii
Wireless Controller.
• Once the Wii
®
Remote Controller is activated,
the Wii
®
Wireless Controller and the delivered
dongle recognise each other automatically
(this is also called „Pairing").
Maintenance and Cleaning
Apart from an occasional battery change, the system components do not contain any
serviceable parts. Therefore, never open the components.
To clean the outside of the controller, a dry, soft, clean cloth is sufficient.
Clean the charging station very carefully, otherwise you may scratch it. Do not use any
aggressive cleaning agents.
