Intended Use
Using this adapter plug, a device connected to it can be activated or deactivated
according to the humidity value set (see section „Explanation of Functions").
The humidity controller is only intended for use in dry indoor locations.
It is powered via 230 V/AC 50 Hz.
Any use, other than that described above, is not permitted and may damage the pro-
duct; furthermore, it may involve other risks, such as short-circuit, fire, electric shock.
Do not change or modify any part of the product.
The safety instructions and technical data must be followed without fail.

Explanation of symbols
A lightning-bolt symbol in a triangle indicates a health hazard, e.g.
danger of electric shock.
The exclamation mark in a triangle indicates a particular risk during
handling, operation and control.
The „Hand" symbol indicates special tips and operating information.

Safety Instructions

The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to
observe these safety instructions. We do not assume any liability for
any consequential damage!
We do not accept liability for damage to property or personal injury
caused by improper handling or non-compliance with the safety
instructions. The warranty will be void in such cases.
• The unauthorized opening, conversion and/or modification of this product
is not permitted because of safety and approval reasons (CE).
• The product is designed in accordance with protection class I. Only a
standard mains socket (230V~/50Hz with protective earth) for the public
supply grid may be used as a power source.
• The product is not a toy and must be kept out of the reach of children.
Therefore, be especially careful when children are around. Children might
try to push objects through the socket openings, for example. There is a
risk of a lethal electric shock!
• The humidity controller is only intended for use in dry indoor locations.
• Never touch the product, or the mains plug, with wet or damp hands when
trying to connect a plug to the front socket. There is a risk of a lethal
electric shock!
• Never pull out a mains plug by pulling on its cable, when disconnecting it
from the front socket of the humidity controller. Always pull the plug out of
the front socket by gripping the area provided for this purpose on its sides.
• Do not overload the product (take note of the input power in the technical
data at the end of the operating manual!).
• Do not leave packing materials unattended. They may become
dangerous playthings for children.
• Handle the product with care, it can be damaged by impacts, blows, or
accidental drops, even from a low height.

Explanation of the Functions
This humidity controller works according to the following principle:
Connected device is activated:
If the humidity is lower than the set value, the connected device will be activated. The
drop symbols in the display blink. Furthermore, the green status LED on the front
flashes.
Connected device is deactivated:
If the humidity exceeds the set value, the connected device will be deactivated. The
drop symbols in the display flash continuously (they do not blink).. The status LED on
the front goes out.
Display „LO"
„LO" is shown on the display, if the humidity is below 30%.
Display „HI"
„HI" is shown on the display, if the humidity is higher than 90%.
Information about suitable sites for using the device
Start-up and Setting the Humidity Value
• Plug the humidity controller into a normal domestic mains socket (230 V/AC 50 Hz).
• Press the button with the hand symbol once. A hand symbol them appears on the
display.
• Now set the humidity value, using the two buttons
• Connect your device to the front socket.
• Switch your device on, if applicable (e.g. if you device has an „ON/OFF" switch).
• If the product casing is damaged, do not use the product any more! When
it is connected to the mains, do not touch the humidity controller or the
connected device! First switch off at the mains socket to which the
humidity controller is connected (switch off the circuit breaker). You can
then remove the humidity controller from the mains socket. Take the pro-
duct to a specialist workshop or dispose of it in an environmentally
friendly way.
• Live components may be exposed, if the covers are opened or parts
removed (unless this can be done without tools). Further, the connection
points may be live. If the appliance needs to be opened for calibration,
servicing, repair or to replace parts or circuit boards, it must be dis-
connected first from all sources of current . If servicing or internal repairs
are necessary, this must be carried out by a specialist who is familiar with
the risks involved and with the relevant regulations..
• It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
- the device is visibly damaged,
- the device does not function any longer and
- the device has been stored under unfavourable conditions for a long
period of time or
- the device was exposed to extraordinary stress caused by transport.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the
Employer's Liability Insurance Association for Electrical Systems and
Operating Materials are to be observed.
• In schools, training centres, hobby and self-help workshops, the use of this
product must be supervised by trained personnel in a responsible manner.
Do not place devices with strong magnetic or electric fields, such as
mobile phones, electric motors, etc. in the immediate vicinity.
Do not position the humidity controller close to heat sources.
Please consult the section „Technical data" for the permissible
maximum power.
The humidity value can be set between 30% and 90%.
Keep in mind, that the the humidity value must be set within 10
seconds. If none of the buttons
the hand symbol on the display disappears. In this case, the button
with the hand symbol must be pressed again in order to set the
humidity value.
