SETTING THE TIME, DATE AND TEMPERATURE UNIT

Hold the "MODE" key (4) pressed for about 3-4 seconds until the year display fl ashes.
-
Set the year by pressing "+" (10) or "-" (11) key.
 
If the respective key is pressed for a longer period of time, quick adjustment is
performed. This also applies to setting the month, date, hours and minutes.
-
Briefl y press the "MODE" key (4), then Month and Date fl ash. Set this using the "+" (10)
or "-" (11) key.
-
Briefl y press the "MODE" key (4), then the tme fl ashes. Set this using the "+" (10) or "-"
(11) key.
-
Briefl y press the "MODE" key (4), then "12hr or "24hr" lashes on the display. Using the
"+" or "-" key you can choose either the 12 h or the 24 h mode. In the 12 h mode, "am"
is displayed during the time before noon to the left of the time, and "pm" during the
afternoon. time

Briefl y press the "MODE" key (4), then the temperature display fl ashes.
With the keys "+" (10) or "-" (11), you can switch between the "°C" (Degrees Celsius) and
"°F" (Degrees Fahrenheit) modes.

Briefl y press the "TIME" (4) button again to exit the settings mode. All settings will be
saved.
ALARM FUNCTION
a) Switching the alarm function on/off
-
Move the function switch (9) to the desired position:
"OFF": Alarm function off
"ON": Alarm function activated
"SNZ": Alarm function activated, snooze mode is also activated

When the alarm function is activated, an appropriate icon appears to the left of the
time display.
b) View and set alarm time
-
Briefl y press the "+" (10) or "-" (11) key, the current alarm time set and the symbol "AL"
to its left will appear on the display.
-
Set the alarm time by pressing "+" (10) or "-" (11) key. For quick adjustment, hold the
corresponding button for a little longer.
-
If you do not press any button for a few seconds, then the time is displayed again.
c) Stopping the alarm signal (without snooze mode)
-
When the function switch (9) is in the "ON" position, then the alarm signal can be
stopped by pressing the "SNOOZE/LIGHT" (1) key.
-
If no key is pressed, the alarm signal stops automatically after 1 minute.
d) Snooze mode
-
When the function switch (9) is in the "ON" position, then the alarm signal can be inter-
rupted for 5 minutes by briefl y pressing the "SNOOZE/LIGHT" (1) key.
The alarm will then sound again.
This procedure is successively possible twice.
-
Stop the alarm by pressing the function switch (9) to the "OFF" position.
VIEWING INDOOR / OUTDOOR TEMPERATURE

Briefl y press the "TEMP IN/OUT" (2) key to switch between the indoor temperature (the
display shows "IN") and the outdoor temperature (the display shows "REMOTE").
-
If you press the "TEMP IN/OUT" (2) and hold it down for 3-4 seconds, automatic switch-
ing is turned on. The icon "
" is displayed at the top right of the temperature display.
The indoor and outdoor temperatures are then displayed alternately.
To stop the automatic switching, press the "TEMP IN/OUT" (2) again and hold it down
for 3-4 seconds, the icon "
" disappears again.
TREND INDICATOR FOR THE TEMPERATURE
An arrow icon at the upper right corner of the display indicates whether the temperature
has risen, dropped or remained the same in the last 3 minutes.
DELETING MAX/MIN VALUES

Briefl y press the "MAX/MIN" (8) key to show the following values successively:
- Maximum indoor temperature
- Minimum indoor temperature
- Maximum outdoor temperature
- Minimum outdoor temperature
- Maximum amount of rainfall
- Minimum amount of rainfall
In addition to the displayed value, "MAX" or "MIN" is shown.

If the currently displayed value should be deleted, press the "CLEAR" key (3).
 
The maximum / minimum values of rainfall will also be automatically reset every
day at 00:00.
TEMPERATURE ALARM
You can set an upper or lower temperature alarm, with which a beep is activated when the
upper temperature limit is exceeded or the lower temperature limit is undershot; an arrow
icon also fl ashes on the display.
a) Setting upper and lower temperature limit:
-
Hold down the "ALERT" (5) key for about 3-4 seconds, until the upper temperature limit
for the indoor temperature ("IN") fl ashes on the display (on the left next to the icon
"
").
Set the temperature limit using the "+" (10) or "-" (11) key.
 
If the respective key is pressed for a longer period of time, quick adjustment is
performed.

Briefl y press the "ALERT" (5) key, the lower temperature limit for the indoor tempera-
ture ("IN") fl ashes (left of the icon "

ture ("REMOTE") fl ashes (left of the icon "

Set the alarm time by pressing "+" (10) or "-" (11) key.

Briefl y press the "TIME" (5) button again to exit the settings mode. All settings will be
saved.
b) Turning the temperature alarm on/off

Briefl y press the "ALERT" (5) key so that the temperature alarm can be turned on or off.

When the temperature alarm is activated, the "ALERT" icon is shown to the left of the
temperature display.
c) Stopping the temperature alarm
-
If the set upper or lower temperature limit for indoor or outdoor temperature exceeded
or undershot, the rain gauge will beep. The corresponding icon "

Briefl y press the "ALERT" (5) key to stop the beep:
SELECTING THE DISPLAY MODE
By briefl y pressing the "MODE" (4) key, it can be switched between displaying the time,
date, the average amount of rainfall ("RAINFALL RATE" is shown on the display, mm/h) and
the total rainfall ("RAINFALL TOTAL" is shown on the display, mm).
 
The displays of the amounts of rainfall are the values for the period since the
last time the rain gauge was reset ("RESET" key) or data was deleted (Press the
"CLEAR" key, if the amount of rainfall is displayed).
VIEWING RECORDS OF RAINFALL AMOUNTS
-
By repeatedly pressing the "HISTORY" (13) key, you can view the records of rainfall data
on the display:
- Rainfall in the last 6 days ("HISTORY DAILY" on the display)
- Rainfall in the last 6 weeks ("HISTORY WEEKLY" on the display)
- Rainfall in the last 6 months ("HISTORY MONTHLY")
- Rainfall in the last hour ("RAINFALL TOTAL 1H")
- Rainfall in the last 24 hours ("RAINFALL TOTAL 24H")
 
The bar graph in the lower display shows each of the corresponding values. The
normal display is the course of the rainfall for the current day ("HISTORY DAILY").

If you want more detailed displays, then request the desired record of the rainfall
amount as described above (e.g. rain in the last 6 months).
Hold down the "History" (13) key pressed until the bar at the "0" is only shown at the
bottom of the display.
By pressing the "+" (10) or "-" (11) key, you can now select the desired time frame (day,
week, month) and view the values. "0" refers to the current day / week / month, "-1" the
past day / week / month, etc.

If no key is pressed for a few seconds, the display of the amount of rainfall returns to
normal function.
LIGHT
Briefl y press the "SNOOZE/LIGHT" key (1) on the top of the rain gauge, the lighting is then
activated for a few seconds and then disappears.
 
Full-area illumination of the display is achieved through the EL technology used. It
is normal to hear a very faint buzzing sound when the lighting is activated (these
is the high voltage generation for the EL lighting).
