Assembly
a) Install track roller mounts
If the product is used as a floor mounted device, it must be operated with the track roller mounts
and track rollers (10). Use the handle (1), to carry and move the unit. Attention! Do not move
the unit while hot.
1. Install both track roller mounts with rollers (10) at the underside of the heat wave heater. Please refer
to fig.1.
2. The unit is completely assembled and ready to the use.

b) Wall Installation
If the track roller mounts (10) have already been installed on the heater, unlock the track roller
mount block and remove the roller mount. Please refer to fig.2.
1. Secure the wall mount to the wall with the screws and wall plugs provided.
Install the heat wave heater at least 0.6 m above the floor. Make sure to leave at least 1 m of
unobstructed space in front of the unit.
2. Turn both locks of the wall mount to the open position (vertically). Fasten the heat wave heater to the
wall mount
3. Lock the heat wave heater to keep it from falling off. To do this, use a screwdriver to turn the left lock 90°
counterclockwise and the right lock clockwise. Please refer to fig.3.

Operation

When using the unit for the first time, heated parts of the housing might emit a temporary
nuisance odour. Should this happen, air the room where the unit is set up.
Place the unit on a sufficiently large, stable, heat resistant and level surface. Make sure the
product cannot roll away by itself (not in case of wall installation).
1. Make sure the 0 1 2 switch (2) is in position "0".
2. Turn the thermostat dial (7) to position .
3. Connect the power plug to a suitable outlet.
4. Turn the unit on by pressing the 0 1 2 switch (2). The operating light (6) comes on. The following power
settings are available:
- Position "1" Heating function with max. 650 W (BN 671575), max. 900 W (BN 671577)
- Position "2" Heating function with max. 1000 W (BN 671575), max. 1500 W (BN 671577)
5. Turn the thermostat dial (7) all the way clockwise. The indicator light (4, 5) lights up as soon as the
heating function is activated. In position "2", both indicator lights come on simultaneously. The heat wave
heater begins to heat up.
6. As soon as the desired room temperature is reached, turn the thermostat dial (7) slowly counterclockwise
to the desired position. Desired position means a temperature setting that is comfortable for you. Find
the position by trying.
7. As soon as the selected temperature is reached, the thermostat temporarily shuts off the heating
function. In this case, the indicator light (4, 5) goes off, and the operating light (6) lights up. Once the
temperature has gone down approximately +3 °C, the heat function is reactivated.
8. Move the 0 1 2 switch (2) to "0" to turn off the unit.
9. Disconnect the plug from the outlet when the unit is not in use.

Frost Protection
• The heat wave heater is equipped with a frost protection guard.
• Connect the power plug to an outlet. Turn the thermostat dial (7) to position . As soon as the room
temperature sinks below approx. +5 °C, the heat wave heater turns on automatically.
Tip and Overheating Protection
Tip Protection
The unit is equipped with a tip protection, which automatically shuts off the heating function, if the unit has
tipped over. As soon as the unit stands upright again, the heating function is reactivated. Secure the unit to
prevent accidental tipping.
Overheating Protection
The heat wave heater is equipped with an automatic shut-off. Should the protective screen (9) be obstructed,
for instance, or if the temperature exceeds +130 °C, the automatic shut-off is activated. To start the heat
wave heater again, proceed as follows:
1. Turn the 0 1 2 switch (2) to position 0, and turn the thermostat dial (7) counterclockwise to position (Off).
2. Pull the power plug out of the outlet and allow the heat wave heater to cool to room temperature.
3. Important! Find out why the heat wave heater shut off automatically. If the cause remains unknown,
contact a qualified technician.
4. Once you have remedied the cause for the automatic shut-off, you can use the heat wave heater again.
Maintenance and cleaning
Never use aggressive cleansers or chemical solvents. They might damage the housing and
impair the functioning of the unit.
Do not press too hard on the surfaces, as this may lead to scratches or dents.
• Except for an occasional cleaning, the unit is maintenance free.
• Turn the unit off before cleaning, and pull the plug from the socket. Allow the unit to cool off sufficiently.
• Use a dry, soft and clean cloth to clean the unit.
• Remove dust from the protective screen (9) using a long bristled, soft and clean brush, or a hoover
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.
You thus fulfil the legal requirements and make your contribution to protecting the environment.
