The device mutes in DAB operation
• In contrast to analogue operation, where reception interferences will cause interference
noise, DAB is muted if the reception is bad. This is often due to the station supply being not
as well developed yet, in particular in rural areas. This is not a device problem.
• The DAB aerial was placed in an unsuitable place (e.g. too close to the vehicle's sheet metal
parts or behind a metal-vaporised vehicle window).
• The aerial plug has no secure contact to the aerial connection (8). Check connection.
Sound output via the car radio is not possible, although the device
otherwise works
• The audio connection between the car receiver and car radio is faulty.
For audio connection via cable: Check the connection between the audio output
AUX OUT (10) and the audio input on the car radio.
For audio connection via the integrated FM transmitter: Check that the
transmission frequency set on the FM transmitter matches the reception
frequency set on the car radio. Do not connect a plug to the audio output
AUX OUT (10), otherwise the FM transmitter will automatically switch off.
The device no longer reacts to button commands or shows other
malfunctions
• Reset the device to the factory settings (see „Menu Settings").
