3. InTended use

The electronic Bluetooth luggage scale can be used to weigh baggage and to

register the measured data via Apple or Android mobile devices. The product
also features an anti-theft alert system that notifies the user when the luggage
scale is removed from a defined area.
Luggage can be located at the baggage claim via Apple devices (iOS). An app
is available online in the Apple / Android App Store (Play Store) to control the
product.
The following devices are compatible:

iPhone 4s/5/5C/S, iPod touch 5th generation, iPad 3/4/Air/mini
Android devices with Bluetooth 4.0

Android smartphones and tablets from version 4.3
The luggage scale is powered via 2 pieces 1.5 V batteries, size AAA.
This product fulfils European and national requirements related to
electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). CE conformity has been verified and the
relevant statements and documents have been deposited at the manufacturer.
It is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture,
e.g. in bathrooms, must be avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes (CE), you must not rebuild and/or modify this
product. If you use the product for purposes other than those described above,
the product may be damaged. In addition, improper use can cause hazards
such as short circuiting, fire, electric shock etc. Read the instructions carefully
and keep them. Make this product available to third parties only together with
its operating instructions.
