11. Mise en service
Le point HOT CUE qui a été enregistré sur la touche HOT CUE 1 est fixé automa-
tiquement comme point de démarrage pour la boucle de lecture 1.
Le point HOT CUE qui a été enregistré sur la touche HOT CUE 2 est fixé automati-
quement comme point de démarrage pour la boucle de lecture 2.
Lire le point HOT CUE:
Appuyez sur la touche HOT CUE (19) correspondante pour appeler le point HOT CUE mémorisé. La
touche clignote pendant 5 secondes. La lecture démarre depuis le point HOT CUE enregistré, soit
elle se met sur Pause au point HOT CUE.
Effacer le point HOT CUE:
1. Un point CUE déjà enregistré est effacé dès qu´un nouveau point CUE est mémorisé sur la
touche HOT CUE (19) correspondante.
2. Les points HOT CUE sont également effacés lorsque le lecteur de CD est désactivé ou le CD reti-
ré.
Fonction d´identification HOT CUE CD (DISC IDENTIFY)
Normalement, les points HOT CUE sont supprimés en retirant le CD ou en éteignant le lecteur de
CD. Mais vous pouvez mémoriser également les points HOT CUE de manière à ce qu´ils soient
immédiatement à nouveau disponibles en introduisant le CD.
1. Mémorisez les points HOT CUE comme décrit précédemment.
2. Appuyez et maintenez la touche MEMO (18) enfoncée pendant plus de 3 secondes. La DEL ver-
te située à côté de la touche s'allume. L´appareil a assigné les points HOT CUE au CD.
3. Les anciens points HOT CUE peuvent être de nouveau appelés en réintroduisant ultérieurement
le CD..
4. Activez toutefois la fonction d´identification avant d´introduire le CD. Appuyez et maintenez pour
cela la touche MEMO (18) enfoncée pendant plus de 3 secondes. La DEL verte située à côté
de la touche s'allume. Si le CD est introduit maintenant dans le lecteur, l´appareil se souvient
des points HOT CUE mémorisés. Dans ce cas, le tiroir du lecteur dans lequel a été inséré le CD
ne joue aucun rôle.
Il est possible de mémoriser les points HOT CUE pour maximum 240 CD.
i) Boucles de lecture (fonction LOOP)
Vous pouvez fixer deux boucles de lectures autonomes. Le point de démarrage et le point final de la
boucle peuvent aussi bien être définis pendant la lecture qu'en mode Pause.
La boucle de lecture doit être d´au moins 20 frames (la plus petite unité de lecture
sur l´écran).
Première boucle de lecture:
1. Appuyez sur la touche A (21) lorsque le point de démarrage souhaité est atteint. La DEL rouge
à côté de la touche clignote d´abord, puis s´allume ensuite en permanence. Le point de démar-
rage de la boucle de lecture est défini.
Le point de démarrage de la boucle de lecture 1 est mémorisé automatiquement
comme point HOT CUE sur la première touche HOT CUE (19). Si un point HOT CUE a
été défini auparavant sur cette touche, celui-ci sera écrasé.
2. Appuyez sur la touche B/LOOP/EXIT (22) lorsque le point final souhaité de la boucle est atteint.

(11) CUE button
CUE function during playback:
If the CUE button is pressed briefly during
playback, the CD player returns to the start of
the track or to the previously set CUE mark
and goes into PAUSE mode. If the CUE button
is pressed then, playback starts from the CUE
mark. After letting go of the CUE button, the
CD player returns to the CUE mark and goes
into break mode.
CUE function during PAUSE mode:
If the CUE button is pressed while the CD
player is in break mode, the spot where the
CD player was switched into break mode is
saved as the new CUE mark.

(12) BOP button
By pressing the button, playback jumps to the
saved CUE mark and starts immediately from
there.
(13) PITCH button
With this button, you can define the maximum
speed change for the PITCH slider (15). You
can select between 8%, 16%, 32% or 100%.
The respective LED 8%, 16%, 32% or 100%
is lit or blinks.
(14) PITCH on/off button
With this button, you turn the PITCH function
for the PITCH slider (15) on/off. If the PITCH
function is activated, the LED 8%, 16%, 32%
or 100% stays lit. When the PITCH function is
turned off, the respective LED blinks. With
deactivated PITCH function, playback is in orig-
inal speed.
(15) PITCH slider
With the PITCH slider, you can change the play-
back speed in a range from +/-8%, +/-16%,
+/-32% to +/-100%. Pull the slider down-
wards (towards +) to increase the playback
speed of the track. Slide the slider upwards
(towards -) to decrease the playback speed.
The corresponding change in percent is shown
on the display on the top right. If the slider is in
the central position, the playback speed and
the pitch are back to original.
The slider is only active if the pitch
function was previously activated
with the PITCH button.
(16) PITCH BEND buttons
With this key, you can temporarily
increase/decrease the playback speed of the
CD by 16%.
The pitch bend (-) button reduces the speed.
The pitch bend (+) button increases the speed.
(17) MT button (MASTER-TEMPO)
This button interacts with the pitch function.
Usually, the the pitch is also changed when the
PITCH speed is changed. When the MASTER
TEMPO function is activated, the device adapts
the pitch digitally to the changed speed. When
the MASTER-TEMPO function is activated, the
LED above the button is lit.
(18) MEMO button
With this button, you save a HOT-CUE mark on
one of the five CUE memory slots.

(19) HOT CUE buttons

buttons.

(20) JOG wheel
Function during playback:
With the JOG wheel, you can temporarily
change the playback speed by turning it clock-
wise. You reduce the speed by turning the
wheel counter-clockwise. As soon as the dial
is no longer moved, playback returns to nor-
mal speed.
